It has become my mission to let the public know that my Boston Terrier almost lost her life at Best Friends Pet Care. She was bit by a dog while playing, and no one at "Best Friends" could tell us what happened. (Even though they say someone is with the pups the entire time they play.) After being bit, the vet was not sure if my Boston had enough skin to cover the hole where the puncture wound occurred. She survived after I hand fed her for 2 days with a dropper. The manager at "Best Friends" felt bad, they gave us our prepaid money back, but refused to pay for the vet bill. (The manager even stated she felt that was wrong.) So, be careful when signing the contract there--ask questions. We decided not to take them to court, but would have if my Boston would have died. Instead, I will continue to spread the word to NOT take your dog here! It was a devastating time for us. more

Dash is a Pampered Pup that is why she loves Best Friends, Inc. 11/21/2009

Best Friends is what my pet is to me and my family. Doggy daycamp, and all the other things offered at Best Friends in Duluth made Dash our energetic lab and best friend a very happy, and loved dog. The counselors and staff love her like their own. Dash is a happy, content and the best behaved dog in her neighborhood. Neighbors, friends and family constantly say, "Dash is such a great dog". They notice a difference about Dash unlike most other dogs. Dash follows commands, loves other dogs, and is always gentle, loving and playful with children. Dash is smart, I must say, but Best Friends has nutured all those wonderful qualities in her with the love and attention she gets while her family is working. She truly does stands out in the growd. Best Friends has made the difference because happy dogs do not get into trouble and really are our Best Friends. I recommend Best Friends to everyone I meet. A GREAT PLACE! 11/20/2009

Our little Pomeranian, named "Tuffy" is the "love of our Life". Our children are grown and he has filled the void in our home and our hearts. We are so thankful to have "Best Friends" to care for him when we are away. Tuffy is so excited to see his friends at "Best Freinds". He runs in and greets everyone. We never worry about him, because we have complete confidence that he is in good hands. I would recommend "Best Friends" in Duluth to anyone looking for a great facility to leave their "Best Friend" Pros: Our Pomeranian loves it there Cons: Can't think of any negatives more

My Dog Loves Best Friends Pet Care. 10/17/2008

Doggy Daycamp is the best. There are always counselors and very happy dogs, including my own. If I didnt have Best Friends Day CAMP to bring my dog to, his energy would wear me out. With this great play area I have a very happy and tired pet. I am sure they love all the pets that come their to play. They totally exceed my expectations.\r \r I do recommend them to all my friends. more

Pleasantly surprised 9/6/2005

I must admit I was a bit skeptical taking my beloved dog to an overnight dog hotel or rather 'resort', but this place couldn't have been more accomedating. They have an excellent 'keep space' for your beloved four legged friends, and offer play time. In addition 'boreding' my dog (ilia), I had her groomed as well. What an amazing job the groomers did! She looked adorable with her little pink pigtales and freshing 'shaven' face. Overall the staff was extremely friendly, and helpful aside from the 'dropping' off process. Maybe it was just because I came in early, but they seems a bit dishelved. All in all though, it was a great experience, and I plan on using them again for my pet care needs (plus, they are afforable). more
