One of the best of the Italian restaurant chains 7/1/2008

This restaurant was always big with the Brandeis University student crowd when I was there a few years ago, considering it?s relatively close to campus. Waits got long on weekend nights though, so I?d definitely recommend reservations. The dining room also had a tendency to get noisy. But the food was as good as any other Bertucci?s outlet and mayb a step above other Italian chains, like Olive Garden. Pizzas at this Bertucci?s came out of a wood oven, and I could sit there all night just eating those warm dinner rolls and be satisfied. This place definitely wasn?t a bad choice for dinner with the family or a large group of friends when I was in Waltham. Pros: food, parking Cons: noisy dining room, long waits more

Excellent oven pizzas 10/7/2007

Bertucci's offers excellent pizzas that you can get from brick or wood fired ovens. We ordered their pizzas for a meeting and they were exceptional. The margherita, chicken, sausage pizzas were crisp, perfectly baked, perfect amount of toppings, sauce and cheese and just mouth watering. more

Disappointing 2/24/2006

Bertuccis has always been one of my fav restaurants in the quick-not too pricey-yet tasty genre. We recently went to the Waltham location. The service was excruciatingly slow; our two course dinner sans dessert lasted well over two hours, even though the restaurant was not very crowded. The mussels appetizer was the fishiest I have ever tasted, and the rigatoni was overdone. Moreover, the same waitress who took ours to serve us had the cheek to advise on payment options so as to include her tip!! Needless to say, will never go back.
