Mid City Subaru\r My daughter and I visited this dealership that we found online. It was not hard to find at all. Once we stepped on the lot, we were greeted by our salesperson Milton Stewart. He was very attentive and knew his stuff. To make a long story short, my daughter got the car that she wanted and the financing was great! Our overall experience was awesome with a clean and professional environment. Thanks to the whole team for this experience! I would definitely refer my friends and family to this location. more

Mid City Subaru and Milton Stewart our salesman made the car buying experience great. My wife and I purchased a Pre-Owned Forester and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. \r \r The location was easy to find and convenient to get to from downtown. The facilities are bright and inviting and even had a TV, so that I could watch the Bulls game. Milton was kind, courteous, and honest. He answered all of our questions, provided us with honest feedback, and was thoughtful enough to challenge us with questions to ensure we had explored all options.\r \r When it came time to negotiate, Milton presented us with a fair an honest quote at the time we sat down at his desk. From there we were able to discuss all aspects of the quote honestly and freely and we arrived at a final price shortly thereafter. Once we agreed on a price, we moved over to the finance department. Nikki, the finance manager provided us with fast and courteous service and got us out the door quickly with a term and rate that we were happy with.\r \r I would recommend Mid City, Milton and the rest of the Team to my family and friends.\r more

Found a Subaru I wanted to buy at Mid-City. Put an offer on that Car. Clint Brooks told me he would sell me that car. Then, I booked a ticket to fly out and buy it only to receive a call from Clint saying he couldn't sell me the car because it had ""hail damage"". I had other people call and ask about the same exact car and it turns out the car was still for sale.No other salesperson seemed to know it had""Hail Damage"". total BS!.. Don't buy from these people. Shady is an understatement! more

Poor Service Dept. 11/28/2011

This review/rating is strictly for the service department. we bought our outback LTD from them 1.5 years ago. That experience was great. Now to the service department...My wife and i have had two completely horrible experiences. After the first experience we decided to give it a try again because maybe the service manager was simply having a bad day. he had yelled at my wife alone and than yelled at me later when i questioned something. we never received an apology from anyone but our initial salesperson. We've been back a couple times since with no issues ( haven't seen the other service mgr, maybe fired). We scheduled our 15k mile $225 service for this past Saturday. When dropping off the vehicle we mentioned to Marcell, service manager, that we've had to put air in tires 4 times in the last 2 months. he stated that this was probably due to lower temp = loss of air pressure. I picked up the car 2 hours later and drove to KMART 15 minutes away. Upon getting out of KMART I see that my tire is flat. In the pouring rain with my 2 nephews I changed the tire and drove home. My wife calls the service department but they brush her off. REMEMBER, we told them to check the tires. After arriving home, my wife looks at the donut on the car and sees ANOTHER tire with an issue. another rear tire was found to have a giant screw in it and losing air slowly. So, we drop off the vehicle for comprehensive inspection and ask them about tires, drive off, and within an hour have two flat tires? COME ON! There can always be coincidence, but this is ridiculous. I leave work early and bring the Outback to Mid City Subaru. Marcell tells me that the tech checked all the tires and it must've happened AFTER I left. TWO TIRES in one hour? I kept my cool and told them to check out the tires, I get a call 10 minutes later stating that I'll need two new tires. He quotes me a price. I come back 1.5 hours later and...............while scrutinizing the receipt I'm signing notice that I'm being charged for 2 quarts of oil and other misc. totaling about $75. SCAM. I bring it to his attention, no apology, and he removes it. I'm furious and ask to speak to a manager. I'm not sure the person I spoke with, but he was even less helpful. No apology again. No seeing my point that this was far too big to be coincidence and that it was major ineptitude at best. He offers a %15 discount card, but I already paid for a 10% discount card a year ago so it's now 5% off of service up to $500. BIG DEAL!!! They could've kept my business by being at least a bit sympathetic. NO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE more
