Berkshire Fence Co

Back in 08 I had a fence repaired by this company. The fence looked okay but their employees are disagreeable. I came outside during the project and found Kevin urinating on the side of my house. When I confronted him about it, he reeked of marijuana. He even asked me for a tip when he was finished. Upon inspection I found a bunch of hardware and trash that wasn't picked up. I called their office that same day and I feel like I wasn't taken seriously. I saw him driving around in the company truck not too long ago, so he still works there. Make sure you don't get Kevin if you're having work done. more

Several years ago we contracted Berkshire Fence to fence about six acres of land, a job that included 5 gates as well. After an interminable amount of time, and several return trips to make adjustments, they finished the job. Unfortunately earlier this year someone backed into one of the gates and broke the post, hinges and gate itself. I have been waiting since May for them to repair this gate. They measured and sent a smaller gate in July which I refused since it wasn't what I asked for. Since then I have not heard one word despite several phone calls to follow up. I know they do a lot of work in the northwest corner but I would never recommend them to anyone. Their work is adequate at best and the customer service is non-existent. I'd give them no stars if I could. more

The minute I called the company last year and explained my fencing needs and the urgency with which I needed to have this done. Berkshire Fence was right on top of it. The provided the necessary temporary fence in less then a week. This allowed us to move into our home sooner. The number of dogs and horses we own made this a top priority. Berkshire, then went on work closely with me to find exactly the right type of permanent fencing that would enhance the property value but at the same time NOT break the bank for us. Their installation staff was second to none. The staff was professional and kept me abreast of their progress at all time. I have never seen a crew come in after the job was over and clean up as nicely either. Berkshire was so honest that when I over paid them I recieved a check in the mail less then one week after the job was completed. I would NEVER hesitate to reccomend this top of the line fence company to anyone. more
