Tried to sell me 2500 worth of parts and labor on my e46 and I didnt need any of it. Went in for simple oil change, got a call back by some rude man named Mike, the owner, telling...

I have had two interactions with this shop. The first time I had the 328 towed to another shop on the recommendation of AAA. That shop called me in the morning and said that they do not work on BMW's! They did recommend Mike at Berkeley Motor Works. Mike and Paula are both friendly, knowledgeable and experts on BMW's! I got a great deal on my repair. These are great people who will take good care of you and your car! more

I would not consider taking my car anywhere else. 5/19/2011

Mike Scwharzbart's shop advised on my original BMW acquisition at Weatherford, handling follow up inspection and subsequent required maintenance. This shop has superb customer service, extremely knowledgeable mechanics and the work performed is always top tier coupled with timely and direct communication/ recommendations thru the diagnosis process. As auto makers design vehicles with increasing sophisticated technology, Mike is constantly on the go researching latest repair data for his customers. I would not consider taking my car anywhere else. more

Great Service 5/17/2011

I just took in my Audi A4, because it was feeling a little sluggish. Turned out the transmission was full of gunk. I got quotes from 3 other places, and they were all overpriced..Berkeley Motor gave me the best quote more importantly the job was done on time and at the price it was quoted at. more

Every time I bring my cars to Berkeley Motor Works I leave with a smile. Mile and Jane run an amazing shop. I have taken all my BMW's to Berkeley Motor Works form a rare 1988 M6 to my 2008 335i. They take their time, make sure that everything is done right, and are competitive with their pricing. They have a "frequent oil change card", after 5 paid oil changes, you get 1 for free. Overall ALWAYS a great experience. A++++ for Mike and the great staff at Berkeley Motor Works!!! more

I took my 1988 BMW 325i for service the other day. I had my brakes done, they changed out a valve and they replaced my battery. The service was timely, the staff is friendly and they even washed the dang car! more

Accurate work, fair price 5/3/2011

After a major overheating, and towing my convertible to another specialty shop who diagnosed the cause as a bad radiator cap, which sounded wrong, I had it towed here. They found the problem was a horribly corroded radiator, and fixed that and the head gasket, and head. They were very friendly, prompt, and accurate in fixing everything for a fair price. more

I've been a customer of Berkeley Motor Works for many years. Mike definitely has a high degree of integrity, and no hidden agendas. This is a high quality, independent mechanic's shop. Mike is a really great guy. He's reliable and he always tells you how it is. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

I've got ten words. One will do: TREMENDOUS. 4/20/2011

Over the last four years, my total experience with Berkeley Motor Works is a 10. In fact, 5 times 5 will do nicely. I bought an '86 BMW about 4 years ago, and a friend recommended I go to them. They were right around the corner from where I was living at the time, so I went to them. They were able to tell me what was wrong, and whether it could wait or if it could not be put off. They've always really worked with me on the service. I've never gotten the runaround from them. They've really gone out of their way to take care of me in any service situation. The end all, be all is this: I can't say enough good things about Berkeley Motor Works. more

You can trust Mike and his mechanics at Berkeley Motor Works, they are professional, friendly and honest! 4/19/2011

I initially found Berkeley Motor Works literally by picking them out of the Yellow Pages when I was buying a used BMW I wanted to get checked out. And now, six years later, I consider myself the luckiest person to have found them! Whenever I call them and need to see them about some issue, they always manage to see me through whatever the problem turns out to be. They figure out exactly how to fix it. I think they give you a fair price for the work they do. They don't do more work then they need to do, however, they will look ahead at things that will need to be fixed in the future for your safety. They keep the right mix that way. You'll never feel pushed to do anything you don't need or want to do. I highly recommend their services, this is a terrific shop! more
