i will never go back with berger auto!!!!!!!!!!! ......i was a good custumer for them 60 or more oil changes i did there but never again berger will see my money again ... i live near to dupont store branch i have bad experiences with them ..... I've heard from other people about their experiences there, none of them positive either ..sorry for you luck berger more

Bergers Just Got Me!!! 4/15/2009

I took my Dodge Intrepid in to them because it was idling rough and the oil light was flickering at idle.They charged me 550.00 and when i got it back it was idling rough and the oil light was flickering.They told me they fixed what they thought was wrong with it (are they not trained techs with testing equipment?) and for another 200.00 they will try again. more

Bad news 7/29/2008

Oil change maybe. Buy a part ok. They can't diagnose, much less repair. I had a leaking valve cover gasket which became a total engine rebuild...and slowly at that. more

stay away 8/23/2006

I decided to try Berger when my Saturn headlights went out on the way home. I had been having recurring problems that the Saturn dealership had been unable to correct, so I thought I might as well give someone new a chance. And Berger was close by. I was hopeful, but when I arrived I had to wait for a long time in the dingy lobby area. Then someone came out and looked under the hood and said they needed to replace the spark plug wires. Didn't make a load of sense, but I decided to leave it and see if they could get it fixed. I was feeling a bit uneasy about it. They offered a ride home and I took it. The guy drove way too fast, and smelled of beer. He even discussed that he had been out late and had only slept an hour or so. My uneasiness was heightened now, and I had him turn back around to the shop. I took my car to Saturn instead. Scary place was Berger. more

Our experience was not good 9/13/2005

Berger had been recommended to us by a friend, and we were not happy at all with the service we received. On two occasions, they were able to fix the car's problem, but it took longer than expected and the prices seemed high. On the third, they charged us for a repair, and when I went to the parking lot to start the vehicle, it had exactly the same problem for which I had brought it in! We had to pay again to have the actual problem fixed. more
