Best prices I found 3/8/2010

I was looking for a home gym that was a reasonable price. with the economy the way it is, we are all trying to save a little money. I looked everywhere for a home gym that fit my needs and budget. then I came across bens foothill business. the salesperson was very knowledgeable on what I needed and was looking for. I ended saving alot more then what I thought I was. the employees were very friendly. I needed my home gym delivered right away. I got just that and no run around. I don't know what these other people are talking about because when I called the store and needed something, they got back to me right away. maybe the other customers were difficult to start with. I work in retail myself and I know how customers can get. I would recommend bens foothill fitness to all my friends and family. more

I have been buying from Ben's Foothill Fitness since 2003 I have purchased numerous elliptical machines for our parkhouse gym and also had many treadmills and other exercise equipment repaired. Pros: Personable & Good Quality more

Bad service is typically not something made up. Sure, the truth may lie somewhere in the middle, but I believe the customer in this instance. And she is an associate/co-worker of mine as well. This was nothing but we'll get back to you, no call, run around, call again, run around, etc... No after the sale service here. Wouldn't recommend at all. more

There are two sides to every story 7/27/2008

I would like to whoever reads the bad review to please read this before you decide where to shop. The client only purchased a bike from us not all of their equipment. When the customer was first quoted the service fee to come out she denied our service fee and did not want to pay our fee and said it was to high. She called back saying that nobody contacted her and demanded that we service her bike A.S.A.P !!! We usualy have to scheduale our services and cant just put a person on the schedual just like that but she insisted we go then. I quoted her two prices and when she called to speak with me I had a family emergancy and she spoke with my manager who I told to give her my cell phone number and call me but she hung up on him. (Talk about professional!) She was upset because she said I quoted her lower when All I did was quote her the part without the service fee and that is what my manager stated to her but obviously she didnt want to hear it and hung up. She did call back but was just telling my manager how bad our service is when he again and again offered her my cell number to help her out. To show you what kind of person she is, she made copies of papers stating how bad our company is and posted them all over our neighboring businesses and also in our parking lot with slander and negativity on them. We are a business and try everything we can to make new and existing customers as happy as we can with customer service and great prices, but sometimes people do not agree with our prices and the outcome...........well lets just say we do all we can to make our customers happy. more

Worst service ever experience 7/7/2008

My condo unit bought our exercise equipment at Ben's Fitness. The pedal fell off one of the bikes and won't screw back in. So I called the number on the bike and spoke with someone who took all the info and said someone would call me back. No call. A week of two later I called back, gave them the info and was told they would call me back. No call. This went on a total of 5 times over 2 months. I finally got Ben, the owner last week. He apologized, I gave him all the info, he gave me the price for the service call and said he would call the next day with the price of the parts. I finally called this morining at 10 (6 days after) and Ben answered the phone. He said he was with a customer (undoubtedly they must have been waiting WAY longer than I had) and would call me back. I explained that I had to leave for the rest of the day but that instead I would stay and wait for his phone call. He agreed. At 1:30 I called back and was told he was gone for the day. After back and forth the gentleman on the phone said he could give me the est. - twice as much as what Ben had told me for the service call. So, not only will they not return your phone calls, treat you like dirt after you have purchased a machine (I'm assuming they treat you like gold while you are purchasing) but they will change prices on you indeterminately. Buyer beware- this is by far the worst customer service I have EVER received- and have never received a call back to apologize. Pros: Maybe they are better when you are purchasing? Cons: Don't call back and don't care. Also prices change depending on who you speak to. more
