Worst place in town! 2/10/2009

This was the first time I had visited Bene Vita, and I was NOT impressed. We got there around 11:20 for lunch and it took us until 12:15 to get our food. When we finally received our food it was COLD. I ordered pasta and the noodles were not fully cooked and the middle was still cold. Server was good, but all other staff members acted snobby and like we were a burden to them. I will not be going back to Bene Vita ever. Cons: Everything more

Bad experience 7/8/2008

First time to visit, very poor service, waiter seems to have forgitten we were there. I am easy to please and understand that every meal can not be perfect, however I could never recommend Bene Vita to anyone. Pros: Location - atmosphere Cons: Service - food more

Dissapointed 5/11/2008

So, we went to Bene Vita for Mother's Day and we were very dissapointed. I really appreciate good food, but I felt like we could have taken them to Olive Garden and the food and service would have been better. FIrst off, the waitress forgot our drinks and we had to ask her to bring them. Two of our dishes were cold and no apology was offered. Cold shrimp and cold lobster are not very appetizing! Pros: The place had a nice patio and nice atmosphere. Cons: Cold food and bad service. more

So I get on here to write about the latest in a long string of bad visits to Loca Luna (Mark Abernathy's other restraunt next door) and see people calling him out for writing his own reviews under both and abreviation of his own name and his step-son's... Click on Bene Vita when I'm done, and what do I see here? Another review by the step son and one under his wife's name as well. Just keep that in mind when you read what ""Brett"" and ""Lyne"" have to say... Good job guys. more

Not what you expect out of a place this stuckup. The ambience is good but the food is inconsistent and the service is horrible. Untrained staff and improper temperatures are abundant here. We had tiramisu for dessert and the waiter informs me 20 minutes later that the lady fingers used to make it would not be soaked in espresso! Where is the authenticity in that? probably could not afford to buy an espresso maker because of a lot of experiences like mine, and i will not be back to any restaurant with Mark Abernathy's name on it. Pros: if you just want to have a cocktail Cons: dont go to this restaurant for food more

This is not a very good Italian restaurant. All the dishes contained way too much sauce, and my sauce contained about a cup of oil. Everyone in my group was very disappointed with the food. My wife & I visit Bene Vita at least once a week if not more & are simply treated as royalty! The food is always delightful & we could not get better service anywhere in town! Pros: GREAT FOOD & SERVICE Cons: It is a little too loud @ times. more

Finally 5/27/2006

We were on vacation and were searching for good food. We found little to speak of in the Hot Springs area, so we drove up the road to Little Rock. Wow!! Owner involved, wonderfull food and fair prices. We were hungry for pizza and we were impressed. Cudos to owners Carl & Cynthia for this special gem. Mushrooms A Must 11/15/2004

I'm not even a mushroom person but their crab stuffed mushrooms are to die for. The Lasagna is big and meaty. Tuscan Filet is killer, too. It's casual atmosphere surprised me. It's not stuffy at all. Great music and lighting. Pros: Value, service, Great Food more

My girl friends and I love to go here for dinner. The food is superb and the bar scene is upscale and laid back. Great martinis and cozmos. No one hitting on us all the time. The lunches are a real bargain. High quality Italian lunches that include salad and cheese bread for about $ 7.00. Hard to beat ! It's in the Midtown area so it's relatively close to everything.
