HORRIBLE customer service AFTER i bought my dress. I have to start by saying that Heather worked with me in the beginning when I bought my dress along with the owner (I believe her name is Sonja) and they gave me top notch service. BUT after purchasing my dress the customer service with the owner ended.\r \r At my first fitting I was set up with the seamstress and 2 sales girls. The sales associates had an unwelcoming, rude, condescending attitude from the beginning. The moment I got into my dress the seamstress & one of the sales girls kept asking if I was going to have them do my alterations there. We had just gotten started. I found that unprofessional & pushy. I was trying to concentrate on what needed to be done to my dress as they should've been.\r \r I wanted more tulle added underneath to make the bottom bigger and the seamstress insisted it was impossible to do without creating a visible seam yet a seam already existed there & was not visible. By the end she said it was no problem??? My bridesmaid asked about a gap above the zipper that was extremely visible and she disregarded her by saying it'll be fine, I'll just put a hook & eye. That wouldn't have held & we knew it. I wanted a bustier sewn in for more support. Not only was this supposedly not possible for the seamstress, but the sales girl chimed in saying to just use double stick tape. That wouldn't work for what I was wanting first off and 2nd I shouldn't have to use double stick tape on my well made wedding gown. No. At the end I wanted to try on a veil or look at some options. They said no we don't have any, you can order one (& buy it). I didn't know what I wanted so ok I guess I'll try options somewhere else without my dress, great. I then asked if they had a statement necklace so I could see what it looked like. The seamstress said no you don't want to wear a necklace with that. Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you were a stylist as well. Wow! For the added tulle, bustle, hem, sides taken in about a 1/2 inch & a hook & eye (only satin dress no beading would need to be moved) they wanted to charge me $850. \r \r Although I was having an annoying experience I was trying to turn the mood around & have some fun so I asked to see flower girl dresses. The sales girl that had been sitting behind the counter the whole time not doing anything said no we don't have any. I said ok well can I look at the bridesmaids dresses? She slowly got up & said yeah, oh we actually have a few flower girl dresses. So now they had them after she knew I was going to see them while looking at the bridesmaids. Lazy or just doesn't care??? \r \r Everything I asked for or about was a no. I felt like they just wanted me to pay them, get the alterations and be on my way. The door was always closed to everything & they were far from friendly about it. Forget going above and beyond.\r \r I left angry and not feeling confident about the seamstress's knowledge. I called the next morning to speak to the owner Sonja about my experience. She acted the same way as the sales associates. Rude & condescending. It was funny how much her personality & attitude changed from when she was trying to sell me a wedding dress. Shame on her. I guess she doesn't care about her reputation or selling me everything else I still needed (bridesmaids, flower girl, jewelry, veil)\r \r Needless to say I will never step foot in Bella Bridal again. With so much competition in the area, I'd recommend that you don't take a chance at being treated the way that I was. It should be a fun, happy & memorable experience. After you pay Bella Bridal for your dress, they're more than happy to kick you right out the door or over charge you for alterations.\r more

LOVE BELLA BRIDAL! I would highly recommend Bella Bridal! Sonia and her team did an amazing job not only on my wedding dress but on the bridesmaids dresses as well! The team at Bella was able to take a dress I bought at another shop and transform it into exactly what I wanted. I could not imagine going any place else! As with most brides, I had no idea where to begin in the search for the perfect dress. I had tried on and liked a dress at the first shop I went to but my mom insisted we visit just one more before committing. Luckily, Bella Bridal was our next stop on the list. This was the worst experience that I have ever had in a bridal store. I went in the store with my mother and my maid of honor. My mother was in town for a couple of days and really wanted to start looking far in advance for my June 2012 wedding. As my mom went to go try on some mother of the bride dresses, my maid of honor and I went to go browse through the potential bridesmaids dresses. I was quickly approached as the bride, and I was told that there was a $50 fee to LOOK at the dresses. The website states that there is a consultant fee to try on dresses, but I had NO idea that there would be a fee to just browse to see if there were any dresses that I was even remotely interested in (I was there for my mother essentially). I thought she was joking at first but she wasn't. You only get the money back if you order your Bridesmaid dresses at this store. In my opinion, this is ridiculous with all of the other great dress stores in the area that allow you to LOOK and try on for free - even if you don't go there to buy your dresses. Plus, there are other stores that have the exact same designers, so why deal with such fees when you can go elsewhere for the same dress for no fee. Good stores don't need to trap their customers by charging ridiculous fees. I immediately got my mother out of the dressing room, and we quickly left. I then went to a bridal store in Birmingham where I found the perfect bridesmaid dresses and my mother found a dress. I told the lady how I was treated at Bella Bridal Gallery, and the lady just about choked - which was my initial reaction with the fee. Belle's Bridal didn't even ask me about a wedding dress, but I certainly won't be getting any merchandise from them or give them a good recommendation to any of my wedding-age friends. Now, I do not think they charge a fee to look at wedding dresses, but I was done with the store once I knew they charged a fee for any shopping - that's why they pay their consultants - it shouldn't come out of my pocket. Plus, a wedding dress appointment takes much more time, then a bride looking through a rack of dresses to see what they have, so maybe they do have a fee for that as well. Many people today have forgotten how to treat others as a person. At other bridal shops i looked at, I was a number. At Bella Bridal I was not only a bride, but they made me feel like I was the only bride. To achieve that when they have so many women coming in their store everyday says a lot about them. The staff is friendly, the service is great and very personal, and in the end you feel like you're a part of the family. I have many friends engaged currently who are beyond frustrated with their bridal shops. I not only have no complaints but Bella Bridal made my experience of being a bride the one all little girls dream of. Thank you Bella Bridal for being so kind, personal and interested in me, my life and my wedding. I recommend them to everyone. more

Couldn't ask for better service!\r \r Everytime you wallk in after your first visit they know you by name and make you feel like you are part of their family. You will definitely walk in more than once because after you go in there the first time you will know that is where you want your dress from. The prices are reasonable and the selection is great. The staff realizes it is your special day and they make sure to go out of their way so that it is perfect for you. I highly recommend it!! more

Everything about this salon is top notch. Good prices, beautiful dresses, and very unique designers, which is exactly what I was looking for.\r \r The owners are really cool people and make you feel like you're a part of your family. They always remembered my name and ask about what was going on with me last time I was there. Very different experience than the other salons I checked out first. more

The owner is the worst business man in the history. He was swearing at me in Greek over the phone thinking I would not understand him. Also his fitting rooms smell like someone has pissed in them along with the bathrooms that were in worst condition than a bathroom at bar. STAY AWAY He had a detective from West Bloomfield police call me. He lied about his actions and his outrage was something I have never witnessed more

I had an incredible experience working with Bella Bridal during the wedding planning process. If you are someone like me and have all your family overseas, you are all alone and trying to pick the perfect dress for your BIG DAY the Bella Bridal is the place to go! The entire staff made me feels so warm and comfortable. They were very patience with me, give me their honest advice and made my “getting the dress experience” just wonderful. I ordered my dress 4 months before my wedding (and we all know that this is very short notice) and they made it possible to get the dress and alter in time. The price was very fair for the dress, alterations quick and with no mistakes and the dress was waiting for me nicely pressed 2 days before my big day ? . I also ordered my bridesmaids dresses from them too and they were amazing! You can truly see that they care more about the bride then money. Every time I called or show up there they always give me their 100% attention and made me feel important! I even got my dress dry clean by them! I was introduced to Bella Bridal a few years ago when I was in my brothers wedding, and recently used them for my wedding. They are the best of the best. Sonia and her family are very welcoming and helpful the moment upon walking into the shop. I had been to many bridal shops before them and nothing compared to their service. They were very helpful in knowing exactly what would fit me best( and my bridesmaids) and they did an absolutely stunning job on my dress. I made my appointment and everything works fine working iSonia. She is very helful and patience, she allows you to feel great during the selection process and always provide you recommendations that can help you out.\r \r The reason I don'rtrecommend shop there is because the male owner is extremely rude, causing to feel uncomfortable. \r He doesn't want to provide written commitment of the timing or anything else.\r \r Pros: Sonia´s service; she helps you a lot in the selection Cons: One of the owners (male) is extremely rude. more

Bella Bridal is a full-service bridal salon that is absolutely wonderful. My bridal consultant listened to what I wanted and brought me the most beautiful dress to try on. It was the first and only wedding gown I tried. It was perfect. Everyone made me feel comfortable and not pressured at all. I was able to get everything from my veil, to my shoes, to alterations, to bridesmaids dresses. It was a completely stress free experience. I love Bella Bridal! There aren't enough words I can use to explain my gratitude. Sonia and Gabriele own and operate their store. They pride themselves on top notch customer service. You become their family when you walk through their doors.\r I am a plus size bride. I was very afraid to look for a wedding gown. I am blessed I found them to take care of me. My dress was full of Swarovski diamonds and I looked like a model from a magazine when they got done with my dress.\r Don't listen to bridezilla's.Some people no matter what you do you can't make happy. I highly recommend Bella Bridal Gallery of West Bloomfield, My sister bought her bridal gown at Bella few months ago, and last Saturday, I bought mine, we both received excellant service from the owners themselfs, and the staff is also very friendly, the prices are very reasonable, the selection is amazing, and the place is always very clean. They're nice people but all they care about is getting your money! NOTHING comes with the dress. Everything is extra! Even steaming your dress after they unpack it from the delivery box! I was supposed to get free shoes (up to $70) with my order since my gown was over 1 grand. When i went for my 1st fitting, they said the shoes i wanted were $135! I told them i didn't want to get them then because i wanted to think about it. When i went there after, they said it wasn't up to $70, it was up to $50. Then later the guy came out and said he can give it up to $60. They were just pulling numbers out of nowhere! I didn't have any proof because they didn't write anything down when they told me about the $70! I have more stories but i think it's enough. They made my whole experience horrible! Every time I left from there, I was in a bad mood! Save yourself the stress and DON'T go there! I wish I didn't! I had the most wonderful experience with Bella Bridal. Gabrielle and Sonya were fantastic and I loved working with them. The staff at Bella Bridal helped to make my wedding planning much easier. MY DRESS WAS STUNNING. The dress came in just right and the alterations were perfect. I promise you. Do not listen to the ramblings of one angry bridezilla. Bella Bridal is the one an only place to get your bridal needs from! They are so kind and helpful, they made my wedding gown perfect! my bridesmaids were also very pleased with them! They made sure i walked out with a smile everytime! The gown prices were more than reasonable, and the price for wedding gown alterations was well worth it! My bridesmaids did pay about $60, which they found very reasonable for the amount of time and work they put in. I read some of the other reviews, complaining about the bridesmaids dresses, and i completely disagree, they do their absolute best to make sure you are happy; and the owners handle everything themselves in a very professional matter, even when problem arise! I cannot even begin to explain the kind of service that my bridal party and I received at Bella Bridal! Not only were the employees wonderfully kind and honest but the owners themselves treated everyone with such great kindness! Everyone was so helpful, I was very pleased with everything, and what I paid for the gown itself, the alterations and my accessories was very reasonable for the quality of service I received. Bella Bridal will work with you to get the dress right. They want to make sure you have a good experience. After ordering a dress that was way too big, the owner worked with me to make sure it was a good fit. All the alterations are covered under one price, unlike a lot of other places that do alterations a la carte and wind up costing a ton. The price of the alterations is very reasonable. They also help do alterations in a time frame that works for you if you are from out of town. more
