Toilet purchase & install 1/8/2012

Workers arrived on time. Plugged drain fixed in 45 minutes. 12/31/2011

Kitchen sink drain plugged with disposer debris. Plug was beyond reach of homeowner. Bell responded same day as my call for service. Two workmen arrived within specified time frame. Power snake was deployed. Took two attempts to clear drain. Final plugging was in a sharp 90 degree bend in drain pipe just before entry into the main house sewer line. This plug was removed on second snake attempt. Kitchen drain was checked and flowing properly at end of job. Work area was cleaned by worker. Plumber recommended not to use disposer for banana peels and fibrous green veggies as these caused the drain line plugging over time. more

Wonderful first experience with a great company! 12/22/2011

The technician from Bell Plumbing & Heating Co. did a very, very, very thorough inspection to find the problem. He took the time to explain everything he was checking and let me know what needed to be done to fix the issue. However, what I was really impressed with, was once he fixed the problem and got it working, he double-checked the gas pressure. Then he advised me to call the gas company because he thought it might be off. He warned me ahead of time they might not be cooperative. Then, he waited with me until someone from the gas company arrived. They gave me a brand new meter, and I really do think it was only because the technician from Bell Plumbing was there. He did a wonderful job, and I will definitely use their services again! more

worst customer service and just arrogant and stupid 12/6/2011

Please do not waste your time , money and patience for a company that is arrogant , rude and not smart when it comes to providing good service. my service man was nice and appeared to want to help me but Brian the manager only seems it fit to make as much money as possibe with no regard of qualiaaty of service and certainly no reasonable way of communicating fairly or effectively! This is a sad ending to a company that has been in years for a long time, so much for my loyalty!!!!! do no t call them ever!!!!!!!! They do not care , they only care how much money they can make in as little time as possible with as little effort as possible!!! Entititled to be taken care by thier cleints even if it is not in the clents best interest. Pros: null Cons: null more

Rude and Overpriced 8/8/2011

We needed a 3rd party contractor to review issues with our swamp cooler. First contact, we were told a serviceman would come out to inspect and determine what to do. There would be no charge for this. Surprise, when he arrived he charged us $ 98.00 before even going up to the roof to check out the cooler. He did nothing but said an estimator would need to come out. That estimator, Mr Selby, was rude and didn't even get up to check the cooler. He looked up from the ground, wrote up an estimate of $650.00 to remove and reset. That is all. They would do nothing else unless other issues were found. Then they would charge more to fix it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We demanded a refund on the $98.00 which we did get. more

I received very poor service from this company, they were very expensive, I was lied to about the price and to top it off the water heater they put in sprung a lead and destroyed my basement and I was never reimbursed and was treated very rudely more

Service is bad!!! 10/26/2010

I have used this company over the last 20 years. Not anymore after my treatment today. They called me at 1pm on my cell to let me know the tech was headed to my house. I immediately left work and went home. The tech apparently had arrived and informed my 14 year old daughter that he can't work in a house with only a minor. Of course I know this. The tech left and said that I needed to reschedule. I arrived home 10 minutes after he left. After speaking with dispatch I was turned over to the owner Gary Bell. Gary said that he stood behind his tech and that he wasn't coming back until after 4pm. This may not seem egregious to many of you, but I have a job. I asked Gary why they called me to come home and then left without calling me. Gary said there was nothing more he was willing to do. I am also a small business owner and when I mess up I move mountains to make it right. Bell Plumbing and Heating wasn't willing to go the extra mile for a long time customer. I guess that's how they roll. more

They showed up, left a mess, sent me a bill for a $60 dollar trip charge and $50 to look in the room. I do not recomend these people to anyone. more

Bell Plumbing & Heating Co the Go-To Outfit! 11/6/2009

In September we finally had to replace our over 50 year-old hot water heating system boiler. We obtained estimates from three highly-qualified HVAC firms. Bell Plumbing was not the lowest estimate; however, they identified the need to replace valves, purge tanks and many other related components to do the job right. Each element was thoroughly explained to our satisfaction. We contracted Bell. The entire job was completed in one day! (Others quoted 3-4 days). It was a vert difficult project performed in a 72 year old house. The Bell technicians were very professional, competent, on time and cleaned up inside the furnace room and along the path into the house. We had a good test during the heavy snow storm in October.
