I came to their shop firmly convinced I needed a complete set of new brakes. They said I only needed a pair replaced. The second time I came in thinking I needed the older pair replaced they explained I did not need them at that time.\r I just went to have them repair my head light and replace the bulbs for me as auto makers build cars so an average person can't work on one. Beldens treated me so well the previous times I'd rather them get the $ instead of the auto company. They gave me an initial estimate on diagnostics and labor., no parts were in the estimate. I knew it was highly likely I needed a new part because I had looked at the area.\r Everyone I have dealt with there has been awesome, this time it was Alex. Alex kept me updated and they quickly got the part. Alex rolled the charges into one another so that in the end the total cost WITH the part was LOWER than the original estimate.\r more

As a ASE Master Technician in another automotive shop in Boerne, I get a lot of customers of the Beldens that will never go back due to the fact that never had the true problem fixed the first time. Along with that, they have hit all of them with a full blown list of "services" that "need to be done". With that said, why take anything to them knowing that they have a track record of not fixing anything right the first time. more

I took my 2004 Pontiac Sunfire to Beldens to check the brakes. After they took my front wheels off, they said I needed pads and rotors...to the tune of $406.03! Pros: null Cons: null more

1) Had Beldens replace fuel pump on silverado, they left several vacum hoses/other disconnected to fuel tank area dangling down that I never noticed until I replaced the oil several days later. Any kind of final QC would have noticed the obvious. 2) Had Beldens replace (expensive) flame box on volvo, w/in last 18 months. Today engine check light at dealer revealed same flame box needed replacement again. I was within the 18 months warranty time but slightly over on the mileage. They (manager) wouldn't budge on any negotiating to the warranty of their work..... strict adherence to industy warranty standard is more important that customer satisfaction in MY CASE.... This place is A+ I had my vehicle taken to Belden's after Ancira Jeep tried to sell me a new transmission. My Jeep started jerking and then wouldn't go over 20 mph. I had it towed to Jeep and they told me I needed over $4000 worth of work, including a new transmission and throttle positioning sensor, fuel injectors, etc. When spending that kind of money, I have to get a second opinion, so I picked Belden's out of the phone book. I told them what Jeep had diagnosed and they quoted me over $1000 less, with the same warranty, if that was in fact the problem. When I got my Jeep to them, they spent over 2 days overlooking my vehicle. It turns out not a single thing Jeep diagnosed was right. I had two sensors out that wound up costing me only $400. They spent a lot of time taking apart my transmission and re-checking Jeeps diagnosis, so I was perfectly okay with that price. They even drove ... The guys at Belden's are great. I have trusted my vehicles to them for years. They literally searched the country over for a carburetor on a 1988 model truck, found it, had it shipped to the shop and installed it. That truck is still on the road today thanks to Belden's. I take my Honda in for service with no worries. I have confidence the car is checked over thoroughly. They treat you with the utmost respect and never talk over your head when explaining any repairs that are needed to be done. Thank you guys for relieving the stress of auto repairs.
