I love Melvin, Roland and James. Sure they're a bit arrogant but they got the goods to back it up. They were always so very helpful when I had questions regarding anything from camera maintenance tips to suggestions on lenses to crap talking about the other associates in the store. My boys treat me well and were always willing to hook me up. All you have to do is be nice and they'll reciprocate. more

I'm writing this review strictly about the rental department here. When I first started coming in here I asked a LOT of questions. I was probably a very annoying customer. A guy by the name of Roland who works in the rental dept. was very helpful. Always greeted me with a smile, remembered my name and was nice to my 1yr old. Roland and the other nice people in the rental dept are the reason this place has me renting lenses from them every other week. They stock some decent lenses and are rarely out of stock. I have walked in there a few times on a Friday afternoon and walked out with the lenses i wanted. more

If you want to get real great advise on video equipment ask for Michael Lewis. He is very knowledgeable and patient with his clients. I bought the Canon Vixia HF S200, RODE VideoMic, a wide angle lens, lighting gear, and a bunch of accessories. Michael helped me find the right products for my project and was a pleasure to work with. more

Awesome service! 5/10/2011

This place was my savior after all my camera equipment was stolen from my apartment (Get insurance!!!) Barry was helpful and gave me a good deal on a replacement and said he would keep an eye out for other deals on other used stuff as it comes into the store. Park in the lot right next door--free with validation for 20 minutes but they usually let you park longer--enough to go get a sandwich at Whole Foods up the street! more
