TERRIBLE SERVICE 8/19/2010

I contracted with Mr. Avery to install a Sprinkler System in my yard in May 2009. He stated it would take 3 days to complete the job and I would have a 4 Year Parts and Labor Warranty with the installation so we set a start date. Mr. Avery arrived on the 12 May 2009. I gave him a check for 50% of the cost of the job and he began the work. The next day he showed up late in the afternoon stating that he had an emergency at his last job a broken water line that he had to dig up and repair. He completed the job on the 15th of May 2009 when I paid him the balance. I questioned him about the type of sprinklers he installed. They did not seem up to the job. He insured me they were the best for the job. more

HORRIBLE SERVICE 6/24/2010

We hired Beefy Lawn on 3/3/2010 to install sprinklers, put in landscape curbing and lay new sod for a 0.75 acre lot. We agreed this job would start as the weather permitted beggining with him putting in the water system and then leveling the dirt to prep for the sod. Months went by, many with very nice days and no work was done, instead Mr. Avery would ""stop by"" and advise ""we'll be back tomorrow"". The work was finally completed 5/8/2010 (not without numerous calls from us, including one call to have the curbing redone as it was done incorrectly) with a FOUR YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY. Pros: seems know what he's talking about Cons: quick to take your money but never shows up for work more
