Very Friendly Front Desk!!! 12/30/2011

Having worn glasses since 1986 I have seen my share of eyecare offices and staff. I made the appointment and was called with a reminder the day before and even told everything I would need to bring into the office to make the paperwork as quick and painless as possible. This is a true help as sometimes you never know what a doctors office is going to need. When I walked in the front door I was promptly greeted. I didn't have to wait or look around and wonder where I should be. I was greeted immediately by very friendly staff. I waited my turn in the very clean and very friendly lobby. My daughter and I both had appointments which they did at the same time instead of having to go one at a time. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes and everyone went out of their way to make sure we knew what the next step in the process would be. This is an office I would most definitely visit every year for the rest of my life as it seems my glasses aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I highly recommend! more

Rude Staff! I visited the office in Liberty,Mo. The staff was extremely short and unpatient. I went to Bennett Eye on a recomendation from a colleague. When I arrived I found that i was very dissapointed in the service. I was treated as if it was an inconvenience for me to be there. I am writing this review to let people know that if they want good eye care service this is not the place to go. more

Highly recommended! My vision problem is over! 1/28/2008

After not having seen an eye doctor for decades, I made an appointment with Bennett Eyecare. Their staff was exceptionally helpful and anxious to be of service. I was examined by two technicians as well as Dr. Bedner. All phases of my visit were pleasant. Dr. Bedner was able to identify the correct solution for my vision needs (a soft contact lens now, and possible lasik surgery later) and I can now see better than I have in years!!! I recommend their office without hesitation and only wish I had gone to see them sooner. Pros: State-of-the-Art equipment, pleasant environment, friendly and knowledgeable staff more

Generally I ""prefer"" to go on ""referrals"" but I couldn't find anyone who had a good referral so I picked Bennett's Eye Center off the web. I have no doubt the physician/staff are knowledgeable; however, my second [& LAST] visit was disappointing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeagle and helpful...Dr. Bennett seemed to be in a hurry...continually looking at his watch, had a ""sharp-short"" attitude to his assistant and overall I felt he was in a hurry. The information in my chart from my first visit was incomplete so? Obviously I prefer someone that will take whatever time is necessary in making me feel comfortable that the doctor genuinely CARES about MY eyes..afterall, they are MY EYES and I only have two. Now maybe it was because I had a 4:00 PM appointment and the doc was running behind for an important appointment. However, I was his appointment at that time and with what I spend and expect in a doctor's visit (regardless of the doctor) he fell short. Good luck! Pros: Staff checked me in/out very efficiently...no complaints. Cons: Doc obviously had other things on his mind and the staff felt it. more

rude front desk 4/26/2007

The front desk (and doctor for that matter) lied to me regarding contact lens. They stated that insurance wouldn't pay for contacts which I purchased online.. They even tried to make me sign a form that said I would ""lose my benefits"" if I didn't get contacts through them. (I refused, of course).\r \r I realize they are just trying to make money off me. Selling contacts probably ""brings the bread home""... but this is just plain rude.\r \r For the record, I spoke with my insurance and they are fine with paying for contacts from online sources.\r more
