Spent our first night in our new (rental) home last night and woke up smiling, happy and giving much thanks to our Property Manager Randy Fortner. We couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly the rental process has gone and how helpful he has been.\r After searching for an apartment on our own for what seemed like months and coming up empty handed and feeling rather desperate as our lease was ending soon, I came across BCG Property Management on Craigslist and decided to give them a call. I was leery at first, because in my experience, extra parties involved has always meant extra hassles. However, I contacted Randy on a Wednesday, viewed a house on the following Tuesday, put down a deposit that day and signed the lease and got keys one week later. The entire process took two weeks from start to finish and Randy accommodated us at every turn...he met us on the spur of the moment when a free afternoon became available to show us the house, then on my lunch break at Tim Horton's to sign the lease when I didn't have enough time to get to the property and back to work on time...pretty much anytime I requested, he made himself available to us. He is professional yet friendly and immediately put us at ease in our dealings with him.\r The lease and what was expected of us was clear and concise...the application was a breeze with instant approval...and the set up of online payments has made it extremely easy for us to take care of things at a click of the button. \r As an added bonus, the property that we looked at had very old carpets and the owner wasn't looking to invest anymore cosmetically. We mentioned the condition of the carpets to Randy, who agreed with us and sympathized and said he would see if there was anything he could do. The very next day we got the happy news that we would be getting new carpeting! The carpet installation was delayed a few days (by the carpeting company) and Randy immediately accommodated our wait by pro-rating our rent for the days that we had to wait. And wow is all I can say about the new carpets! We are beyond thrilled with how amazing they look and how much it added to our home :) \r I have recommended Randy and BCG Property Management to several friends in the last month since I have come to meet him and I will continue to do so as this has been an incredibly POSITIVE and stress free move for us. I’m an out of town investor who has used BCG for the past 4 years. My experience in dealing with them has been extremely positive and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. more

Any positive reviews for this company were surely written by the owner under various fake emails. This shister doesn't follow his own contract. There are numerous examples of this companies deceitfulness, but space being limited, I will leave you with just one. Jeremy Bates own contract states that any repairs over $250.00 must have a written estimate, approved by the owner and paid in full before repairs can begin. Amazingly, a suprise charge of $910.00 was the first I heard of any repairs being done! When threatened with a lawsuit because he refused to refund my money, Jeremy Bates cancelled my account and kept over $1,300.00 I had in my account! Currently in preliminary stages of a lawsuit. You have been warned. BCG has unlimited charges and they just withhold your rentals income from you so you have no recourse if you disagree with their plethora of charges! There are other management companies, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. more

I lived in Williamsville for 4 and a half years with my wife and family. I was relocated to the mid west last year. The plan is to move back to WNY in 2012. BCG is managing the leasing of my home while we’re away. They’ve been more than accommodating to my needs – and there has been a lot, as I’m very particular about my house and who is living there. They’ve found a very nice family to rent the house and BCG has given me much peace of mind. I would highly recommend : ) more

i own 3 duplexes in south buffalo. BCG has managed my properties for the past 2 years now. they have been responsive and helpful to deal with. the properties have been profitable and i've been running at less than 4% vacancy. also BCG managed the renovation of 3 of the units including new kitchens and bathrooms. we were able to increase the rents and so the return has been good. i would recommend working with BCG. more

The WORST property management company I have ever been involved with. They not only mismanaged my properties, I believe they outright defrauded me of funds. I have a pending lawsuit against this company for thousands. Save yourself the headache, and save your properties. Do NOT use this company. The owner may appear charming and intelligent, however his devious accounting methods, his neglect for communication, and his blatant overcharging for repairs cost me thousands.
