In pain but treated quickly 2/6/2011

I went to Centennial Medical Center with severe abdominal pain. The ER doctor ordered a Ultrasound. They found fibroid tumors in my uterus and gave me medication to manage my pain until I could get to an OB/GYN. They also treated me with antibiotics for a bladder infection which was caused by an enlarged uterus. I had a good experience with the ER nurse Kathryn, and the doctor Dr. Arai. I followed up with a doctor who has priviledges at Centennial Medical Center. more

Great care at Centennial 12/1/2010

I have been treated personally at Centennial several times (delivered my youngest there), always in a very professional manner. I have taken my mother, my husband, my daughter, and my son to the emergency room there as well. I've been pleased each time we went, because of the courteous staff, thorough evaluation, and efficient service. In comparison to other hospitals, Centennial is very nice, new, and high-tech, with friendly people. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. I trust my life to them! more

Avoid Centenial Medical Center 7/25/2010

If at all possible, do not go to this hospital.....Plano or Allen Presbyterian Hospitals are MUCH better choices....still dealing with CMC's ineptitude months after a 5 day stay. more

can the state come and close them?? 7/12/2010

We have been sitting in a room, the ER wait time was short, but not getting any help in this room. Over 10 hour wait, some nurse forcefully comes in to tells us someone will come in here shortly, but nothing. How is it possible for my mother to be in bed, in pain in a hospital. WHAT country are we in??? and we have insurance, i wonder what people without insurance do. HORRIBLE service from all staff, they say be patient, will be with you, just a minute, in a fine tone, but they don't do anything.... do not come here. the state needs to come look at this hospital, which I will make calls on this. more

come and sit in pain for days... 7/12/2010

do not go here. you will NOT be helped if you are in pain. we have been waiting over 24hrs, and no one has done anything. we have become a chart that just gets bounced from one person to the next. They know what is wrong but no one wants to start the healing process here. IF you want help of any medical type don't come here. I more

They killed my mother 6/15/2010

My mother was taken to the ER with a critical, life-threatening emergency. She had a dissecting abdominal aneurysm, and was bleeding internally. I told the paramedics, the nurses, and the doctor she had an aneurysm (I knew that for a fact), but they put her in a room in the ER and left her, screaming, for an hour, before a doctor ever came in. They finally took a CT scan after 3 hours, then panicked, because I was right all along. Since they couldn't handle that, they CareFlighted her to Parkland, where she died in surgery. The surgeon at Parkland said it was just too late.\r \r These people are idiots. They couldn't diagnose it even when I did it for them.\r \r CentennialHospitalKills.com more

DON'T GO TO CENNTENIAL THEY ARE IDIOTS!! 5/26/2010

DON'T PAY UP FRONT FOR DELIVERY SERVICE!!!!!!! I had my first children at Cenntenial and 7 months later we get conflicting stories about "we owe money, we don't owe money, they owe us money" ARRRGGGHH! In paying upfront we were told that all and every charge was taken care of and the amount owed was total cost, apparently someone doesn't know how to do their job or they just make mistakes easily with thousands of dollars!! We should be square and they keep telling us we are not, very frustrating to say the least.\r As far as the staff goes, the day staff in the delivery recovery ward are top notch! The night staff on the other hand leaves little to be desired and really act like they don't care about your discomfort or your needs. Also, we never seemed to get mom and dad "rest" periods as we were suppose certain times during the day, it's as if no one told the staff we weren't to be disturbed and had hot and cold running people constantly! Also, Cenntenial sent in a hearing specialist a more

A caring and proffesional hospital ! 3/14/2010

Since Thanksgiving Day 2009, mom had 3 ambulance rides to Centennial. And 3 times she was pulled back from the hands of death by the doctors and staff. Dr. Amara, Dr. Anwar, Dr. Shafiq and Dr. Ariffuden worked as a team to help her, always professional, yet always caring. The nurses where there when you needed them or asked for them and tolerated us hanging out in the hallways and the insurance counselers helped us to know what our financial part would be. I would VERY highly recommend Centennial to anyone looking for QUALITY healthcare with people who definitely know what they are doing and do what they know very well.\r Barbara Reid Steele more

The best health care prople 1/14/2010

Last September I had ACDF Surgery with Dr. Vudhi Slabisak performing the procedure from North Texas Orthopaedic Spine center. The procedure toke place at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, TX. At 47 years old and for my first ever visit to the hospital, I was scared of not making it home. The Surgeon, Hospital, Procedure and staff could not have been better. From check in to check out. Recovery and followups were perfect. I am so blessed to be living in the greatest country in the world with the best trained Dr,'s and the best heath care system in the world. \r \r Thank you Lord.\r Roger more

A Thanksgiving Blessing 1/25/2008

I highly recommend Centennial Medical Center. My parents were visiting here for Thanksgiving and my dad became ill. Emergency surgery was performed the night before Thanksgiving and my dad spent a total of 12 days in ICU. The ICU doctors and staff was great. Especially Dr Alang (Internal Med), Dr Nyugen (Surgeon), and Nurse Thomas (ICU). I will be forever grateful for your services. Between the staff and the Lord Jesus Christ my dad is still here. He is 75 years old and still kicking!\r \r Thank You So Much\r Lois Perriott more

Life Savers 11/25/2007

My son was born 10 weeks early and spent 48 days of his life in the Centennial NICU. The staff was not only highly qualified, but highly personable as well. They did not just care for our son, but they cared for us in the interim. Without the ladies in the NICU, we wouldn't have made it through the long and emotional journey as emotionally stable as we have. more

Great treatment and good people 8/5/2006

I have had to accompany two family members to Centennial Medical Center Emergency Room and have found the staff very professional and friendly. They minimize the administrative paperwork and just treat the patient.\r \r I highly recommend Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Texas. more

Birth of Granddaughter 12/22/2005

My daughter gave birth at Centennial Medical Center and she has a great experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful knowing this was her first child. They reassurred her and made her feel very comfortable. The entire hospital stay was excellent. Nurses and staff worked with her and made sure she knew exactly what she was doing when she and her new baby were discharged. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. S. Gentry more

We would have been better staying home 9/29/2005

My daughter was taken here by ambulance after a seizure. The doctor was not up to date on his medical knowledge and gave her medication not indicated for her condition. He also did not recognize an allergic reaction to the medication. He made her condition worse, and I ended up having to take her to another doctor to fix what he screwed up. This hospital needs to hire better doctors! more
