I was with Bates for a few years only until last week. After making several calls to the office and leaving work early only to arrive and to find he jacked up my rates by $30. I asked the receptionist why and she stated its a new policy. She didn't bother to tell me over the phone about this and I asked if she could do anything this time. The answer was NO. They couldn't work with me after I was with them for 3 years. I said so your going to make me go somewhere else and she said ""I guess"" and let me leave. \r HE IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. \r Every time I went in as a cash paying customer he would try and push the expensive payment plan on me. He also tried to get my wife on the plan as well as a few friends. His adjustemtns are only 5 minutes at most and his plans are $1500 to $3000. \r \r BE AWARE HE WILL PUSH THE PAYMENT PLANS ON YOU AND HE IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY........... more

\r The pain in my neck has lessened and my movement has increased tremendously! My lower back pain has almost completely diminished. I am actually having restful sleep at night as a direct result of my treatment. I look forward to continuing my care with Dr. Bates.\r more

When I came to see Dr. bates, I was having lower back, shoulder, and knee pain. I had an appointment with my M.D. to get checked out. Dr. Bates recommended that I wait because he felt that he would be able to help me without the need of an orthopedic referral. After 3 weeks, all of my symptoms were gone! Thank you Dr. Bates! You have excellent services.\r more

Love this Chiropractor 7/28/2010

I'm so glad that I found Dr. Bates. He has the most positive attitude of any chiropractor that I've ever been to and is a great coach for those times when I need help the most.. He took the time to explain his treatment rational with me so that I understood what the game plan for was for my care. Totally great chiropractor 7/27/2010

Dr Bates has a gentle spirit and an understanding approach to his practice. He is a good listener and takes into consideration your needs, likes and dislikes. If you have any fears about chiropractics he will disspell them. His education and experience is evident. He also has the ability feel where you hurt. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has pain and is tired of meds that really don't do the trick. Pros: Personalized attention Cons: Haven't found any. more

Finally a Great Chiropractor 7/27/2010

I have seen 4 chiropractors here in Camarillo, the only good one moved away :(. Then I kept seeing his sign every time I went to the bank. For weeks I thought that I was starting to get fibromialgia (I am 25), everything hurt, then one day I had this pain like a tie across my chest and could not breath. My husband wanted to take me to the hospital that night but I promised that I would go to the doctor the next day. Thank God he had an appointment open that day. We took the x-rays but would not be able to see them till the next day. He gave me an adjustment and instantly I could take a deep breath again. I used to have to take 8 - 16 advil and/or asprin a day for pain for months but in the two months that I have seen him I probably have only taken 12 total. If you are experiencing any pain that you just can't figure out why is happening PLEASE go and see Dr. Bates. He is great, he is kind and patient. An adjustment to heal your every need. 7/26/2010

I've had my reservations and doubts for the last 18 years in regard to Chiropractors only because of one bad experience. I've been to medical doctors for my back and continue to get the same response. Nothing was helping, neither the P.T. nor the meds that they suggested I start taking. \r \r After being involved in a serious vehicle accident I took the chance of consulting with Dr. Bates. It was the best decision I've made and the results are just short of a miracle. Less than 3 sessions with Dr. Bates have managed to accomplish more in 18-20 years of P.T. and jumping through loops at the doctor’s office. Trusting Genuine and Gifted 4/22/2010

I was referred by a friend to go see Dr. Bates. I have been to a lot of chiropracors but my friend insisted it was a different experience here. I'm pretty skeptical but gave it a try and it was the best thing I've ever done for my health! I'm feeling better than I have in years and feel more motivated now to make lifestyle changes that I've been putting off for so long. I feel very much a part of the process and Dr. Bates has a wealth of knowledge that he shares all the time. Thanks you Dr. Bates! You are an inspiration and have changed my life for the better!! A Great Healer! 4/3/2010

Before moving to Camarillo, I was really blessed to have had an incredible chiropractor treat me regularly back in LA. Well several months ago, I severely injured my lower back from weightlifting and since my old chiropractor is not around, I was forced to find a new one ""at random"" to help me with my pain. Guess what? Dr. Bates is incredible! Over the coarse of several treatments I went from not being able to tie my shoes to once again being able to practice Jiu Jitsu and weight lift all in about six weeks time. Thank you Dr. Bates! Chiropractic in Camarillo 3/30/2010

Although parking could be better I would recommend you check out this Chiropractic Clinic in Camarillo. They have good deals on massage therapy and the Chiropractor was very warm and welcoming. It seems like this office is much more up to date which is different from the other Doctors I've been to in Camarillo. All in all I walked out feeling like a was floating on a cloud. Good stuff. Pros: Cool Office and good massage therapist Cons: Parking is not the best more

How refreshing! 3/19/2010

How refreshing to find a chiropractor that is so willing to share his knowledge. I have attended two of his seminars and enjoyed them both while learning valuable information. Both my husband and I are responding well to treatment and are more than satisfied with his approach. His waiting room is very different from any other chiropractor we have ever gone to: patients talk to each other while doing various exercises, and you can hear Dr. Bates while he is treating other patients. I love the atmosphere, relaxed & friendly. Pros: Education along with treatment. more
