\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r Ok here's the scoop....\r \r If you come here, you WILL learn how to bartend, and they WILL try to get you a job. Bottom line. \r \r I really enjoyed my time here. I looked forward to coming to class, the schedule is flexible, and you can stay as long as you want to make sure that you have learned everything and you feel prepared to get out there and do it in the real world.\r \r Be prepared, while Lou is awesome and incredibly knowledgable, come in with an extra layer of skin, cause if you act like a moron, he will call you out on it, and sometimes you have to be a real student... Good news is he doesn't hold grudges, and as long as you listen and work hard and do what your supposed to, you will have a great time and he will show you respect.\r \r Cindy is great. She talks really fast, but I think that's just because she has so much knowledge to get out to you. She will work to get you a job, just make sure and do your part as well. IE show up to your interviews!\r \r I highly recommend this school. You learn everything you need to know and they will get you working. I will definitely keep coming back to brush up on my skills!\r more

BARTENDERS TRAINING INSTITUTE IS SIMPLY AWESOME. 12/7/2011

This class is really fun and informative , I highly reommend bartenders tarining institute, , I enrolled in this school about 6 mos ago, had a audition and I got a role in a soap on abc , I put the class on hold when I returned They remembered me and let me take the class over (refresher) for free and , The 3rd day cindy called me out of class re ; a great bartending job lead - the bar manager( a bti grad) let her in on a inside lead I applied Got hired and love my new bartending job the other bartenders are not trained as good as we are at bartenders training institute and the manager Ian is a fellow grad - thank u louis and cindy your school rocks!!! more

One of the best experiences!!: After researching all the bartending schools in the Los angeles area, I chose to attend Bartending training institute because they offered the best instruction and I knew alot of bartenders and they recomended me around. Since I live long beach , a school in long beach may have been convenient, but driving to north hollywood for class was so worth it. My instructor was lively and funny. The class was extremely hands on, and I left class knowing about 500 drinks after 3 weeks. I now work as a bartender with the hours that I desired after using the school placement program. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in bartending more

Bartending Training Institute 3/17/2011

I came hear after I looked in many places. For me it has a great commute since it is right off the 170 Hwy. The clean work area and yet a cozy bar feel. The lessons are about practicality, pouring the drinks and learning the count. They have an open bar for us to train from 8 am to 11pm, and a great staff that watches are back. We train for the real thing. After the first job placement class, You are helped to begin to search for jobs. Cindy and Lou know many of the bars. When I went to the eclectic bar in North hollywood, one of the bartenders was a student of Lou's, and when I asked him what went into a drink of mine he explained using many of the words he used in class. Any time you have a question about a drink you can come back learn it and practice that drink till you have it in your head. Like second nature. Its a great school that will definitely well worth your time. more

Bartender's training institute is by far the best bartending school in the Los Angeles area. As a recent graduate (today actually) I can assure those of you looking for a legitimate bartending school that this is the place that you should go to. HANDS DOWN! The $470 that it costs is not that much and you can make that back within the first couple of weeks of bartending. Lou Fasanelli, the head teacher, is a great instructor who makes every class not only informative, but interesting as well. Under his tutelage I was in and out of the school in just two and a half weeks! Although you are more than welcome to go at your own pace. Arguably the biggest plus about BTI and the thing that sets it apart from the rest of the schools out there is that Cindy, the owner, has you going on job interviews before you have even graduated. Whether you are thinking about working in a dive bar, restaurant, nightclub, or hotel Cindy will make it happen. Her graduates are bartending all over L.A. from Club Nokia to the Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood. Trust me when I tell you that you want her on your side! In short this place is true to its word as the best bartending school in L.A. and they can fast track your bartending career in a matter of weeks. No lie. more

This school is repulsive 10/23/2010

I am one of the girls that Lou harassed and caused to cry more than ones. Lou and Cindy's unprofessionalism is repulsive. Lou is in his best behavior when he knows that someone is there to check out the class, but once you have paid and signed that contract all hell breaks lose. He is very violent, condescending, stubborn, and disrespectful. You never know when his madness will trigger. I almost want to say he's bipolar, but I'm not a doctor.. Cindy is worth nothing because she is only there to be manipulated by Lou, and Lou's illogical orders is all that matters. My best advise to everyone is to do your research before you choose a school. I guarantee that if you do your research, you will find that this is the worst school to attend in Southern California. more

Best bartender's school, hands down! 6/3/2010

I came to Lou and Cindy with aspirations of being a bartender, and very little knowledge of drinks, other than what my friends would order. In just 5 weeks, I know how to make a couple hundred drinks, had a blast doing it, and more importantly i have a J-O-B! If you are serious about being a professional bartender, then this is the place to go! Pros: excellent instructors, full bar setting, job placement Cons: Should have done this years ago!! more

I am so excited Got pulled out of class today to go right up to The Marriott to start working! They have the best job placement at Bartenders Training Institute hentic, and this proves it. And I'm a member of BTI for life now, with free refresher programs, repeat job placement, and TIPS certification, all free! And when they say for life, they have been around for thirty something years. Their not going anywhere. Don't get ripped off by all the imitators. Cindy and Lou kevin and Juan are the BEST more

Highly Recommended 2/25/2008

this was a very big decision - I really shopped excessively and checked out each bartenders class in the entire los angeles area - I liked the friendly (cheers) style atmosphere and I did not find it at any of the other classes in los angeles - the other bartender schools were big franchises and It appeared they were sorta like satellite schools out for prophet - the teacher (lou) was really a tough teacher (i thought) but I see that in the bar industry they really prepare you (bartenders training institute) for this - If I went to another school like some of my coworkers they dont know half the drinks I know and they constantly ask me to help and i get the best shifts - so I highly reccomend you go here (if you really want to bartend) or you can go to the national (type) bartender schools and you will probuly be my barback - love and cheers Pros: all very fun and it was so cool to learn hands on Cons: nothing - I really think its a great school!@ more

it took me 4 weeks to complete I really love the fact that i have a career i can fall back on its easy Pros: teacher is great - placement is fantastic 3 job offers in less than a month Cons: would like a school closer to home but worth the drive more

let alone going to school i really recomend the bartenders tarining institute Lou and cindy seem to really know each student and I got a cool and great paying bartending gig cause of the referal cindy gave me Pros: great and fun bartending class with great results made back my tuition Cons: not one bartenders training institute delivers great class and good job leads more

top bartending school in los angeles gives proof of real job placement 7/14/2006

i was so scared when i enrolled but cindy and louis really helped i love bartening and i had met someone who went to a franchise school and they werent worth a thing i highly recomend bartender school in north hollywood on burbank and colfax only go to bartenders traning institute you will get what you pay for Pros: everything was great louis is a great teacher i learned hands on in fact all 12 student s are working cindy has alot of comnnections with clubs and bars in hollywood Cons: absolutely nothing i love them i miss them wish it wasnt over so much fun more
