I've been doing kickboxing since I was young and wanted my son to try it as well. That’s why I decided to enroll my son to Bars Boxing & Kickboxing. I love this sport because it gives your whole body a great workout and makes you more aware on how to protect yourself. Now, my son also loves it. I see how eager he is to go to this school with me. more

Bars boxing Staten Island 11/29/2010

I decided to try kickboxing for fun for one day at Bars Boxing & Kickboxing and from that day I fell in love with it. I have been going there for the past year now and see a complete change in my character. I can honestly say I learned a lot and can't thank coach Akmal enough for believing in me. more

I love kickboxing classes at Bars Boxing & Kickboxing. It gives my body great stamina and makes me feel very relaxed after every class. The people there are also very serious about training which I like because I want to do kickboxing professionally. more

Boxing and kickboxing school Staten island 9/29/2010

I was surprised by how calm and professional the atmosphere is in this Boxing and Kickboxing School. Knowing how to defend yourself is one of the best ways to gain self confidence. People who know any form of martial arts will tell you - it gives you a sense of calm and peace. The techniques were easy to learn, and I also discovered how some of the other common moves don't even work! I was glad to learn good techniques that really can work. more

My favorite martial arts school 9/18/2010

I've been a student of Bars Boxing and Kickboxing School for a long time and it's the best martial arts school I've ever attended. Coach and owner Akmaljan Zakirov is a knowledge teacher with many years of experience. He takes a hand on approach and teaches you directly instead of letting his senior students doing it all the time. The prices are all reasonable. This school has a great atmosphere and I definitely recommend it. more
