We had a wonderful experience with our 4 1/2 month old son at Barrus Photography. The sets were fun and unique, and the quality of the photos were awesome. We highly recommend you use Barrus Photography for your photos! My husband, children and I went for a family photo session. The Barrus staff was extremely nice and made great choices of where to take the shots. They even interacted with our children and made them laugh. The pictures turned out amazing! In the end we got several shots and poses from which to choose with prices where fair. We are defintely going back to Barrus Photography for more of our family photos! more

As a family, we looked at many photographers, have used some others but were thoroughly pleased with Scott and his staff. Their facility is great to work in for the family groups we had to photograph. They were always patient with our small ones and helped create a positive atmosphere where we had enough time to get just the right shot. Prices are competitive. more

We just had our Family Picture take in December at Barrus Photography. We have 9 daughters and 18 grandchildren so it was no small task. Steve Barrus did a fabulous job working with all of us. He took fabulous pictures and did pictures of each individual family, the grandchildren, the nine sisters alone, the son in laws and the big family picture in 1 hour. Because he was so good and so quick it made it so the grandkids were able to hang in there for all the pictures! After the pictures were taken, Sterling did his magic with Photoshop so we all looked absolutely perfect! We couldn?t be happier with how all of our pictures turned out. more

I was really worried that my 2 week old would only cry during the whole photo shoot. Luckily, we got some great shots even with her being a bit fussy. Jenny had a lot of patience and did a great job working with me to get my daughter calm. She did a great job. We will treasure the pictures forever! more

Seems only the complaints make big reviews...but this is a PAT ON THE BACK for Barrus Photography. We have never been disappointed with their work. Our daughters have had their weddings so throughly covered and with many unique poses, etc. We reccommend them for any of your picture needs. My husband and I had our portrait taken for Christmas gifts for our children and grandchildren in Novemeber and not only did they rush them for us; they turned out with outstanding quality. Our kids were totally thrilled to receive them. Best Christmas gift we could have given!! We will be back!! more

We've gone to Barrus Photography for years! We've always been satisfied with their Photos as well as their commitment to great service. They go out of their way to make sure that customers are satisfied, regardless of what it costs them. As a professional artist, composition, color and atmosphere are all very important to me, so I'm careful who I choose. (So is Jerry Sloan. Steve photographed his wedding.) Steve and Jennie have shot extended family photos and all 3 weddings. They do beautiful work. My daughter said, ""Steve makes you feel beautiful."" They have been very generous to us! Dissatisfied customers are rare, not the norm. more

We had some very important family pictures taken back on Nov 4th. A week later (Nov 11th) we went in to view our prints and order the ones that we wanted. When we ordered our prints we were told by the employees of Barrus that it would take 3 weeks to get our prints. We waited patiently, but when a month had passed by and we hadn't heard from them we called and they told us that they were in. So we went to get our prints (this was on a monday) so we showed up and only about 1/3 of our prints were ready. The owners wife told us that the rest would be ready by saturday. So on Saturday I called to see if the rest of the prints were ready and they told us that they were not ready. So as a paying customer I had some questions about what the delay was. I was told that the lab that Barrus sends there prints only has 1 person working on the prints and i was also informed that our prints were not sent to the lab until 11 days after we had PAID in full for our prints. During this conversation I was talking to the Owners wife and she would not even hardly let me get a word in during our conversation. She was very defensive with me and she did not handle this matter in a professional way. She finally gave the phone to Steve Barrus (owner) and all he said to me was that this conversation is over and he was not even willing to listen to me. I was informed today that if i show up to there business that they would call the cops on me. I was the FULL PAYING CUSTOMER and I was treated like dirt. I WOULD NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND IF ANYBODY READS THIS I WOULD THINKD TWICE ABOUT GOING THERE. Cons: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM OWNERS, VERY RUDE TO CUSTOMERS more

I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY STEVE BARRUS. I HAVE CLOSE-UPS OF THE BEST MAN (MY HUSBAND'S BROTHER). APPARENTLY, HE THOUGHT HE WAS THE GROOM... SHOULD HAVE FOUND OUT WHICH ONE WAS THE ACTUAL GROOM (THEY AREN'T TWINS). I ASKED FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE TO BE INCLUDED BUT NEVER GOT PROOFS INCLUDING THOSE PEOPLE. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE BOTH CATHOLIC. THE MASS WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO US. HE MUST NOT PHOTOGRAPH MANY NON-MORMON EVENTS. WE HAVE PICTURES OF THINGS THAT WEREN'T SIGNIFICANT IN THE CEREMONY AND ARE MISSING PICTURES OF SOME OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS. WE ONLY HAVE TWO STATUES IN THE CHURCH. HE MANAGED TO LINE UP STAGED PHOTOS SO THAT IT LOOKS LIKE THE STATUES ARE COMING OUT OF THE TOP OF PEOPLE'S HEADS (BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY?) IN MOST PICTURES THE FOCUS OF THE PICTURE IS THE BACKGROUND RATHER THAN THE PEOPLE. more
