extending the hours of operation because of resident requests 4/28/2011

The clubhouse was finished a few months ago and they extending the hours of operation because of resident requests. I thought that was really nice of them. Someone has to come in early (6am!) and stay late (10pm) to keep that open for us. The gym in many other apt complexes are only open during regular business hours. more

My apartment is beautiful 4/26/2011

I moved here last year and I love it here! My apartment is beautiful. I have a two bedroom upgraded apartment on the first floor with a nice little fenced in patio area. I have a dog so it makes it very easy letting him out on very cold days. Everything was perfect in my apartment from the day I moved in and haven't had any problems since. more

The neighborhood is great. 4/21/2011

The neighborhood is great. One minute from I90, a few minutes from metra stations, and so close to the crowds in Schaumburg/ woodfield mall but not in the middle of the craziness. There's a library a few minutes down the road too. And Hoffman Estates police station. Also, they are spending quite a lot of design and energy in the upkeep and landscaping. I think it's worth the money. more

I have lived here for 6 months and I have nothing but great things to say about this place and the staff here. I came from downtown Aurora to this. I thought I was at a vacation resort from Wisconsin. First of all they have every single amenities that you can think of either on site or right down the street. From working out in the fitness center to grilling outside by the lake with your family and friends. Bottom line Great location, very friendly people. The new magager here has really lived up to there word for the residents in the past year. Look in to it. For the record I have been to every other complex with 15 miles of this place. Nothing matches it. Take a look for yourself. Gorgeous more

.we miss everything about Barrington lakes 4/15/2011

Bottom line...now that we have moved out of state and on the search for a new appartment...we miss everything about Barrington lakes and would have no problem paying what we paid for it again! Buildings closer to the office are better than the ones furthest concerning incidents and quality. more

Balconies were all built new 4/12/2011

Balconies were all built new when we moved in. I often came home alone in the dark without my husband and felt safe. Garbages are located near doorways for easy drop off. more

There is laundry on every floor. Laundry was on a card and I liked not always having to have quarters. more

Great for young professionals 3/18/2011

Barrington lakes Apartments are at a good location for stores, highways and businesses. A good place for young professionals. There are plenty of parking outside and its a safe area. Just north of the apartments is the high end town with multi-million dollar homes. It is also close to a large movie theater complex and good resturants. more

We've lived here for 3 years now and just renewed for our 4th. Our experience her has been nothing but great! Office staff has always been friendly and helpful, whenever we've needed repairs they have always been completed within 24 hours (99% of the time on the same day we called). more

Great parking 3/7/2011

The location of the apartment is great as it is in the middle of everything around the area. I felt you get a hotel feeling when to go to the apartment as there are number of apartment one after another in a long hallway. They have secure entry which is essential. Have ample visitor parking. more

Completely Satisfied 3/1/2011

It is well worth its rent- calm and nice place. Buildings are very well maintained. Carpets are frequently vacuumed. No parking problems. Very good management. Nice Gym. Never had any problem with the laundry room unlike my previous apartment. Apartments are regularly checked for facilities. It comes with all utilities. Very nice place for pets as well. more
