Over the last ten or so years, I went with the Insurance company's recommendation only once, and I've have regretted it ever since. I have never regretted going to Baron Von Frier. I still have my car from my first visit and the quality of the work has stood the test of time, showing that it was done right. more

Extremely Thorough 3/8/2011

Extremely Thorough, great communication, and instantly started discussing my options. Defiantly full service, handled the insurance company so i didn't have to. Argued on my behalf, to get the best possible results and excellent customer service. Love the ""party favors"" bag too. more

Baron von Frier repaired both my car and my daughter's within a month. I have never had such a wonderful experience at a body shop! Everyone was kind, attentive, highly respectful, full of suggestions as to how to reduce my expenses while making my car as beautiful and functional as possible. Staff at BvF went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to honor my feelings and needs. I came away from the experience feeling I had made friends, as well as with total satisfaction -- above and beyond what I might have expected from a simple experience of having my car repaired. I wish all businesses were run like this one. more

Outstanding service! Hands down! 2/28/2011

I was so pleased with them, they did an outstanding job on my Honda! There went over and beyond what I expected and have ever experienced. They made me feel like we were old friends, they treated me with so much care and even helped me with my insurance company. Linda is no force to be reckoned with! And Steve was such a wonderful person as well, he took great care of me. I would totally recommend anyone to this shop. They made my experience a great one under the conditions. more

Baron Von Frier is the place to go for car repairs and excellent service 2/24/2011

My car was broadsided and damage was done to the driver's side door. On the recommendation of my mechanic, Ocean Works in Berkeley, I went to Baron Von Frier to have the repairs done. They took care of EVERYTHING - working with the insurance adjuster, arranging for a rental car for me, keeping me posted on the work being done and when it would be completed. They even returned the rental car for me!! This is the place to go for all car repairs and excellent customer service. more

They totally rebuilt my car. It wasn't easy, but they served me well. 2/23/2011

Baron Von Frier was outstanding. I had gotten into a nasty accident, and they totally rebuilt my car. It wasn't easy, and she was a little resistant, but when I went in to visit my car in intensive care, they were already well under way to bringing her back to her former glory. Baron Von Frier served me very well, and I was very impressed with all of their work. more

Baron Von Frier has excellent customer service and does their best to make the always traumatic process of auto repair less so. I have more car accidents that I care to remember, so I've been to BVF quite a few times. I feel no need to experiment with anyone else. I was referred by a friend, and I don't hesitate to recommend BVF to my friends and acquaintances. more

I had been to Baron Von Frier in the past for car repair, and when I had the accident with my car, I knew I wanted to return. They took care of everything for me, and did an excellent job with the repair. I always recommend them to anyone I come across that needs body work. more

Baron totally fixed me up! 2/15/2011

Brought in my 06 Acura TSX after a rear-end collision and was greeted by a very pleasant customer service rep and then met with the amazing Linda, who patiently explained how things would work and what the next steps would be. Within 2 weeks I had my bumper replaced, parts repaired and had my car returned to me clean and shiny! It looked better than it has in years! I highly recommend them, especially if you have a Honda/Acura in Black, the work they do is like magic. more

I was out of there in 20 minutes 1/13/2011

Ok, so this time I hit some cones that got knocked into the one of two open lanes on the freeway at 11:30 at night on 880. There was A LOT of damage. More than you would think. First call in the a.m. - insurance company; second call - Baron Von Frier. Although it was driving fine, they asked me to bring it in right away to assess whether it was safe to drive - it was not - so Linda immediately drew up the paperwork and started ordering me a rental. I was out of there in 20 minutes and got my car back in less than a week. more

Linda and Steven are friendly, upfront, fair, and honest about what needs to be done to my car. They understand budgetary constraints and never pressure me to make repairs I can't afford, and are superb at dealing directly with my insurance carrier! I recommend them highly to anyone who needs bodywork done, and won't take my car anywhere else! more
