Retaining an atmosphere similar to other Barnes & Noble bookstores, this B&N is right off the 5, eastbound off the Alderwood exit. Inside, there sits a Starbucks counter on the left, because nothing says, ?let?s buy a book or two or three? like a piping hot, 16-ounce latte. This locale, although not the best organized, is among the smaller of the B&N stores I?ve visited. Typically, one would find a media/entertainment/CD/DVD section, but such is not the case here. In dealing with returns, exchanges, and web-based transactions from (http://barnesandnoble.com/), the staff is typically ill prepared to handle such matters, and customers seemingly await an eternity for an authorizing manager to appear, as if magic is required to conjure up such a person. One prior gift return was a web purchase, and I found it ridiculous that the B&N chain and its website are two separate entities. This experience overall soured my opinion of Barnes & Noble.
