THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATESS BOOK STORES YOU CAN GO IN. THERE IS EVERY KIND OF BOOK IN THIS BUSINESS TO BE FOUND. THERE ARE BOOKS TO FIT ANY BUDGET. VERY COMFORTABLE CHAIRS ARE WAITING FOR YOU IF YOU WANT TO READ A BOOK OR LOOK AT A MAGAZINE. THE STORE IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND THE EMPLOYEES WILL HELP YOU FIND ANYTHING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. EXCELLENT PARKING AND THEY ALSO HAVE A PLACE TO BUY ANY TYPE OF COFFEE , ANY WAY YOU WANT IT.A REALLY GREAT PLACE TO SHOP! more

Barnes & Noble 10/17/2005

They recently put in a new Barnes & Noble by my house, and I was quite thrilled. No longer did i need to drive all the way to Encinitas to get to a Barnes & Noble. The store is clean, organized, and full of people to serve you. Also, the coffee bar in the store is much cheaper than the one in Encinitas. more

Great Location Book Store 8/20/2005

This New Barnes and Noble in the New and Improved Oceanside Shopping Area is a GREAT store. We love the location w/shopping and restaurants all around. The children's book area is also great-with lots of room to play, read books, and socialize. One thing to make it perfect would be a gate of some sort to keep the kids/toddlers from the straight dash to the front door. While you have to watch your kids at all times, a little barrier would not hurt for those moments you are reading to another child and your toddler darts around the corner out of eye site....The smoothie place next door is YUM! And if you don't like smoothies-you can drink coffee at their starbucks! more

It does one's heart good to see that people still read! 8/4/2005

This bookstore is always busy, but well-staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. It's pure pleasure to see so many people browsing among the stacks or absorbed in a novel while they sip a cappucino in the store's wonderful cafe. Further, BN offers some great activities for kids like storytellers and magic acts...the selection of children's books in particular is first-rate. Don't expect that you'll always get the best price, but if you're an avid reader, it's well worth joining the Barnes & Noble reader's club to save an extra 10%. more

Best Selection 6/16/2005

This is the only major chain bookstore in the area. The have a great selection of books. I always enjoy bringing my daughter here because they have a little area where she can sit down and I can read to her. They have always been very accommodating when calling ahead to have a book put on hold, now that is good customer service. My only complaint would be that I wish some of the aisles were a tad bit larger. more
