Baristas

As a native Southern Californian, I can testify to the imported So-Cal fast-lane attitude, which is of course similar to the one we all have out here... so if you are a by-the-book, conservative, reserved Morman or other Hurricane native, as well as easily intimidated or a bit on the meek, gentle side, this MAY NOT be your first choice for an eaterie. However, if you are looking for excellent food, FOR A PRICE THAT YES, DOES REFLECT THAT QUALITY, you are in the right place. This place has served numerous celebrities, TV food show hosts/critics, car/bike clubs and a myriad of other high-profile groups and individuals, and has not done so because they didn't earn it. The owner, Steve, is aggressive and proud, but it is not meant in any way negative whatsoever, it is simply the acquired tenacity of one who has personally seen the rise and success of several of his own businesses. Bottom line, if you aren't meek, and want some killer grub that you will indeed pay some more for - *shock/disbelief* - head by Barista's. more

I live in town, and I've hear some of my friends complain about the prices here, however when I went in with my husband I absolutly loved this places. The prices weren't that bad considering how good the food was. They have a great atmosphere here. more

Baristas is a great place to dine at. The atmosphere is very interesting but I love the selection of food. The service is unquie, however I travel all over the county so unique is a good quality to me. I was very happy with my experience at this restaurant. more

I finally found a place that makes food fresh and just doesn't pull it out of the freezer. The food was amazing they did a great job. It was definitely worth the drive from our house! more

I was traveling through the town, when I cam across Baristas. The food and service was Great. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful! The restaurant was very cleanly and just a really fun environment.I had the Pastrami sandwich that was grilled with honey glazed pecans, feta cheese and avocado on home made roll. I had and dessert. This is probably one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. more

No where in Southern Utah are you going to find another restaurant to even compare to Barista's, No where in the world for that matter. Barista's menu is Soo amazing and unique it is packed with every type of food you could imagine. from Steak to Seafood, Custom Gourmet Burgers, Pasta, Mexican food, And it's all FRESH!! you name it or crave it, They've perfected it! I think it is so cliche that any one would compare this magnificent restaurant to fast food or any other dining facility in the city or area especially considering I personally was there when some managers and general managers of a local fast food joint were ranting and raving about how amazing one of the salads and ice cream is at Barista's,,, Barista's also has a full and incredible espresso and dessert menu too to top that off! There isn't anything more I could possibly ask for or even imagine a nice casual fine dining restaurant having, Indoor and patio dining, beautiful pictures and ambiance with the sculpture design inside and out of the restaurant, and some of the most incredible magical service, presentation and most important delivery! the food is simply hands down the best. Like the title says Incomparable to any other dining experience. Barista's is exquisitely distinguished and unrivaled. more

The very first time I walked int to Barista's Diner, I was taken aback. Not only did the owner's treat me like I was an old friend, but they treated me to a delectible roller coaster of flavors. Time and time again I've gone there and never once have my taste buds or my excitement levels been let down. The owner and I are now on a first name basis, and every time I'm in town I make it a point to stop in, even if it's just for a quick drink. One of my favorite aspects of the restaurant is the atmosphere, usually there is a great movie playing on the HD TV, and I love reading comments that the customers themselves have written on the walls more

My husband and I visited Barista's on March 22 while in Hurricane, Utah visiting a friend. The first thing that caught our eye was the intricate metal work that surrounded the outside and inside of the restaurant. The atmosphere was fun and different, it was nice to be able to read the reviews written by customers on the walls while we waited for our food. The prices were a little high but definitely worth the quality of the food recievced. If you take a trip to Vegas the prices were comparable to food too mediocre to hold a candle to Barista's. The service was fabulous and Beau (our server) was amazing! The owner was not like any of the reviews, he was very passionate about his restaurant and he managed to entertain us throughout our dinner. He was very funny and the staff was very attentive. Honestly, if you want a great dining experience and food that is out of this world, go to Barista's. It was a one in a million experience that was definitely worh the price. I will dine at Barista's again and I recommend you do the same. more

Barista's Diner you are really something and even though I don't happen by Hurricane Utah very often, because of you, I might have to seriously rethink this. Much success to you. more

On a second visit we repeated our pizza and this time opted for their fresh baked peach pie topped with their vanilla ice cream and this pie is not to be missed. The peaches were slightly tart with an almost apricot flavor and the crust was the most buttery, flakey crust I have ever encountered. Maybe if I'm lucky, they will share their recipe with me one day. more

Since Dad and I like to try a variety, we usually split our meals so we can try more than one item, and on this trip we opted for their Meatball Pizza (meatballs handmade slow cooked for 6 hours). The pizza was perfectly prepared with a nice crispy crust that I had not experienced before and the flavor was incredible. After gobbling this down, we split their icecreamaccinno which consisted of their very own hand made vanilla ice cream topped with a double shot of their creamy espresso and this was simply dreamy. more

On our return trip from Zion, famished, we stopped here, and were pleased to find friendly smiling faces of the owners running this diner. Front and center is a most impressive espresso machine and hanging right above the front counter is their menu. EVERYTHING food in this restaurant is hand made by the owners and I really do mean everything. more

While driving through Hurricane, and on our way to see the beautiful Zion National Park, we happened to drive right by Barista's Diner and I made a mental note to be certain to check this place out, especially since a name like Barista would certainly include great coffee. more
