Buyer beware. This dealership will sell vehicles out from under you. I was interested in a newly listed used vehicle (an SVT Lightning), contacted them for pictures, they sent me one. Contacted them again to send me more, said they would and never did. I went to have the vehicle transferred to Auto Nation South Fort Worth since the service I was getting was terrible and the South Fort Worth store has treated me great. Come to find out they would not transfer it because there were some mechanics that worked at the Frisco store that mentioned that they might want it, service manager advised he would check to see if either were going to buy it. So the employees were offered the vehicle over a customer on a publicly listed vehicle. They had not even committed to buy anything. A day later I was told the mechanics backed away from buying it because it was going to take a ton of work and it was on the lift taken apart. I still told them to transfer it when they were done with repairs or getting it back together. They advised my salesman at the South Fort Worth store that he could pick it up if I wanted it that bad. My salesman sent a rep to pick it up early the next morning and the Frisco store would not let her take it and said a sale was written up the night before (with it still taken apart needing $4k worth of repair), after they said that they would transfer it. Interesting thing was my South Fort Worth rep checked their database to see if a sale was written and there wasn’t t until late in the evening the following day. So this whole ordeal lasted a little over 4 days. Very shady situation with several lies being told to me and will be the last vehicle I will ever consider from the Frisco AutoNation store. The dishonest and unethical business practices rate them with or below a typical used car dealership. more

Very Bad Experience 7/15/2010

After giving myself some time to cool down I am ready to write an honest review. After bringing my 2009 Ford Escape into over 24 hours earlier I called to get the status of my repair, even though i was promised, and did not receive a call that day. I was put on hold, sent to voicemail, told I would be called back in minutes all day. I spent a total of 5 hours just getting the status of the car's repair! I eventually had to demand the service manager physically walk down to the service area to find out what the status was. It turned out that because the technician assigned to the car was out of the office, it could not be approved to be worked on. Although this seems extremely silly and inefficient I would not be upset if they could have told me that at 11am when I dropped off the car instead 30 hours later! The final issue was that the winshield was broken when I went to pick up my unfinished car. The winshshield was NOT broken when I brought it in, pretty sure I would have noticed a large crack from end to end. They brought out their manager and told me it was a rock chip. Rock chips tend not to happen inside a service shop, dropped tools or parts from the dozens of cars on jacks above the cars not being worked on does happen. They took no responsibility and simply said, ""I don't know anything about that"" several times. Dealing with someone playing dumb in that situation is infuriating. Pros: In Plano Cons: Slow, Irresponsible, Dishonest more

Outstanding, delivered to my front door service 12/30/2009

When getting a quick repair on my Explorer, Bankston Ford provided outstanding service. Specifically, they estimated the time frame and gave me a ride home. When a needed part didn't arrive as quickly as predicted and I was up against being late to pick my children up from school. The service coordinator had the courtesy shuttle and another employee deliver my repaired car to my front door. All for a $250 repair. I'm impressed. more
