For an average taker that's walking E or W on the South Side of the street in Pasadena...for most passerbys it might look like another tea establishment. For me when I was diagnosed with diabetes one of the things I had to do was cut down a lot on caffeine. I discovered this place while on a walk at lunch and instantly fell in love with the establishment. Wonderful aromatics, nice antiquities, service with a smile and now I'm hooked. I've been coming here off and on for the past 6 years and I can't say without a doubt compared with most places I've frequented..it's not quite so average...it's an above average experience! I've spent countless hours browsing for the perfect gift mug to finding some of the most delictable teas that I've ever tasted. Growing up my mom and I use to enjoy tea together a lot in late fall through early to mid summer. As an adult I do find the antioxidants a big plus with my health and it's not always the same typical ""cup of tea"". WIth the variety of 6 caffenated and decaf teas (I have at my desk at work) I can always mix and match my flavors to fit my mood. A real great eye opening experience and I've suggested this place to dozens of my friends with similar experiences. I do like that a majority of the nice ceramics are from Japan..great craftsmanship but my personal favorite is my ""Navy Blue English Tea Pot""...gotta love it! Definately a place to check out if your in the greater Pasadena area or the other store which I havnen't visited as of yet in Clairmont. This is a ""Tea Drinkers Delight"" and for me also since I'm fond of anytihng Japanese...some real nice tea cups and sets. With that said drink up and enjoy, one place you need to experience!
Pros: Good flavors, customer service with a smile & reasonable
Cons: Will it fit most people's budget, fits mine
