I first experienced Balani through their Groupon a few years ago. Initially reluctant to try custom, I was blown away by their focus on teaching me about my options in fabric, color, and style. I've gone back a few times since and each time they give me a fun, personal experience. Did you know that they serve you drinks while you select fabrics? \r \r The final product is also fantastic. After my second trip to Balani I had to throw away all my old shirts because nothing fit like the custom ones. With their help, I'm gradually building a stylish wardrobe that fits and looks fantastic. And even when I'm not scheduling an appointment, if I ever have fashion questions, I can shoot the team at Balani an email or give them a call and they'll explain (like when I needed to know whether I should wear a belt with my vest, or what the power tie colors were).\r \r If you're even considering custom, you should definitely check these guys out. more

I have had several experiences with several different tailors in getting custom clothes done. I decided to give Balani a try to make my tuxedo for my upcoming wedding. (I have a very broad back and shoulders and a hard to fit body) I was skeptical at first that I would find someone who could finally make me a suit that fits properly, yet with the extra details I like. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly with Hello Mister..., I don't usually like to be called Mister, but man did it make me feel like a VIP walking into this place! The sales guy Joe, was unbelievable! He made the process so easy and within 15 minutes of meeting him and be educated on the process and details that go into making a suit (which no other tailor has ever taken the time to do), I knew this time around I would be very pleased with the outcome of the suit. So, to make a long story short, I received my suit and man, did it fit great! I actually thought it fit good enough for me to walk out wearing it, but again with Joe's attention to detail, he suggested a couple little touch-ups to make it perfect. My fiance was very excited about the tuxedo and thought I looked great in it. (I actually think I might have stolen the spotlight a little from her on our big day ;) Anyway, I would definitely recommend Balani to anyone, I don't think it would matter what type of body you have, they would be able to make you a suit that looks great! So if are looking for that personalized attention and great quality, give Joe or Balani a call. I know they have a long time customer in me! In my job I wear a suit Monday through Friday, and for years I have purchased high end suits at department stores and I never will again! I never truly knew the differences from a store bought suit to a custom suit, and I tell you what, there is a huge difference! Not only does the suits fit me EXACTLY the way it is supposed to, but the options I was offered were as I said in my title... I went into ""custom clothing"" with an expectation of stuffy and cluttered, but was pleasantly surprised with the modern sleek approach. The clothing I ordered fit PERFECTLY and I appreciate that I can place future orders over email or the phone, as they have my measurements and preferences on file.
