We used Backyard Vacation Pools to build our pool last year which we felt they did a great job getting the pool complete with the rainy weather we had part of the year. The quality of the pool is fantastic, we have looked at our some of our neighbor's pools and they do not look nearly as beautiful as our pool! We would highly recommend using the Primm's for your pool, they have great attnetion to the details. One of our neighbors had their pool built by BV Pools three years ago which they said the pool sold their house in two days which is the reason we ultimately decided to use them! Communication after the job was complete was great too and appreciated as well. They were not the least expensive but certainly not the most expensive but we felt we got a fair price and cannot believe how awesome the finished project looks, we would have paid more.....Love my pool! We have had our pool that was built by Backyard Vacation Pools & Spas for over three and a half years. All aspects from the selection process of what pool builder to choose to the customer service that we receive today has been nothing short of a GREAT customer experience. Initially both Jeff and Susan sat down with us to discuss all the details of our pool and pool area. They were both very honest and forthright. Even though they are not the ""cheapest"" pool builders in Houston you can rest assured that they will give you all the details and insight that you need to help you make a positive decision on your pool selection. In addition, we were swimming within 35 days once the signed the final contract was executed. I have been considered somewhat of a perfectionist however BVPA has exceeded my expectations during the process including the quality of the pool and pool area, the honesty and integrity of their company and ongoing excellent customer service. This is an example of great ongoing customer service. Two years ago when Houston received the freezing weather during the Christmas Holidays I received a very detailed email from BVPS advising me on what I should and should not do with my pool and pool maintenance in order for our pool to maintain during the cold snap. How many other pool builders would take the time and effort to take care of their customers first? I strongly recommend this company. We researched several companies before selecting BV Pool and Spas. We visited their customers and spoke to several on the phone. We had heard the horror stories from our friends about building a pool and were very apprehensive about building with anyone. BV Pools walked us through each step and responded to our phone calls better than any other company, so we selected them. The pool turned out beautiful and we have been very pleased. As far as customer service goes, I could not have asked for better. They returned our calls promptly and responded to our questions. They made sure that we were completely satisfied. As far as service after the sale, it has been great. We just completed our third season in our pool and a question about a pump came up. BV pools repsonded within an hour that they would have some come out and look at the problem. All pool builders use subcontractors to build pools and the subs that work for BV seem to be very pleased which means they get paid. So they show up promptly and the workmanship was good. I think the real difference between Pool builders is customer service. We were very demanding on them and they responded to all of our questions and issues. They had that ""right away"" attitude and put up with our endless questions. What more can you ask? They have worked hard for us and earned our loyalty. Before I started building my pool, I investigated 6 pool commpanies in great detail. Out of the 6, BV was the least expensive, and promised to build the pool to my specifications, in record time. I am an engineer so I asked a lot of detailed questions. All of them were answered prior to the beginning of construction. I worked with them on the design. One of my requirements was that there are no surprises. Pros: Great support during and after the sale. more

We used Backyard Vacation Pools to build our pool this past summer (June 2006) and found experience with Jeff and Susan Primm to be one of the best! They were honest, got the job completed ahead of schedule! They were one of the ONLY companies that gave us options on what we could put on our pool, the other pool companies just gave us a list and said this is what you get. They took the time to educate us so we could make a good informed decision! They put things on their pools that no other company does because they care of the safety of children. I loved it when they said, we are business owners, but we are parents first, that really put in all into prespective about much they are about the well-being of their clients. The icing on the cake, they build one of the most beautiful pools we have ever seen! Tons of attention to the details which we did NOT see with other builders. A pool that was 2 months old looked like it was 5 years old with some of the other companies. We had Backyard Vacation take us to new pools and old pools because we were nervous after looking at a few from other companies, their new and older pools all looked the same, gorgeous!
