Poor Treatment 3/2/2010

Previously my family has had a very positive experience and for the past five years bought cakes for special occasions. They were very good at customizing the cake to make it unique; however, my husband recently went in to order a birthday cake for me and asked for irises on the cake since irises are my favorite flower. The woman at the counter rudely snapped, we can't do that and that if it's not in the book then it can't be done. She was very dismissive, so my husband left. We had been such loyal customers and this is the treatment received. So much for designer cakes and giving the customer what he/she wants. We'll definitely be taking our business elsewhere. Worst tasting cake I've ever had! 10/31/2008

I chose to order my wedding cake from Bachman's and it was a terrible decision! It was a 3 tier cake and the decorations on it were beautiful but it tasted absolutely terrible. Being a big cake eater, I expected my wedding cake to be one of the best but this one was a huge letdown. It tasted as if it had been frozen for about a year and then thawed out and served! The icing tasted of baking soda and the cake was very dry. I've bought 12 dollar cakes from wal-mart that were 10 times better than this one. Obviously, I have not been back to Bachman's, nor will I ever. I most definitely do not recommend Bachman's cake shop. Cons: wedding cake was inedible. Tasted of baking soda and wood. Seriously. more
