Bacco is another of the great Brennan's restaurants. This one is more Italian oriented, but with a great Creole touch! Conveniently located in the French Quarter it serves both locals and tourists. A great plus for them is the fact that they validate parking in several of the garages in the area - just call them and ask where.
Their menu is extensive and always exciting. Their wine list is nothing to sneeze at. The service is highly professional, yet personal and friendly.
At the moment they are running a special - three appetizers and a glass of wine for $25. They are also running a so-called Katrina special - three glasses of wine and an appetizer for the same price. If you opt for the Katrina special, please note that you have to have a designated driver - they even state so in writing.
The appetizers included in this specials are all fantastic and generously sized. You might have real trouble finding enough space for a dessert after having them. If you do, they are all great - but the Blueberries Bread Pudding (unfortunately seasonal) rules!
Overall another great place in the French QUarter!
