I stayed here one night, clean and the check in staff was very friendly and helpful. I had my small chihuahua with me, so they gave me a room near the back door on the first floor.

Room was so large and luxurious 1/20/2011

I was desperate to find pet friendly lodging for a reasonable value on a weekend that all the hotels in Chicago were sold out. Thankfully I found this one after trying about 50 hotels. My room was so large and luxurious, I lulled myself into believing I was in a 4 star hotel on Michigan Avenue. And it always has an available room. more

Very Happy 1/13/2011

On September 17, 2010, my husband and I caught a flight to Chicago for a funeral. The airline Security took my husbands shaving cream and our flight got in around midnight. We were to attend a funeral the next morning and really didn't know where to get shaving cream at that hour.Blessedly, the desk clerk at the Best Western had shaving cream behind the counter. We were relieved that we didn't have to hunt some down in the wee hours of the morning. To make matters worse, when we arrived in our room, my husband realized that he didn't have his shaver. Once again, the Best Western desk clerk came through for us. We were very happy. more

Great place to stay 12/27/2010

Great place to stay: Came to Chicago for an event. My room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffet's are good and the employee's were friendly. This location is close to food, shopping, and entertainment for all ages. I recommend this hotel to anyone who just needs a place to stay while in town. more

Strongly Recommend 12/27/2010

I stayed at this hotel during my first ever visit to Chicago back in April of this year. It was then a Holiday Inn. During my first stay, I noticed that the hotel was undergoing renovations. After my first visit, I told myself I would come back to this very hotel my next time in Chicago. I really enjoyed the hotel b/c of the friendly staff, as well as the great meals I had in the restaurant. The thing I enjoyed the most was the shuttle service. Being that it was my first time to Chicago, I did not know my way around. I relied heavily on the shuttle service and the entire staff was very friendly. When I arrived for my second visit, I got to the hotel and it looked amazing. It seemed as if the renovations had completed. The whole place looked awesome. My room was very comfortable and they still had the same friendly staff. I really think this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone else. more

Good Hotel 12/22/2010

We got the shuttle bus from the airport. It arrived about 15 minutes after we called. The driver was very nice and chatty to. The hotel offers a lovely breakfast for $8.95 and had a friday night fish buffet. The staff are very nice and attentive, they cannot do enough for you the gym is modern. The incinerator is closed down so the smell is no longer there. We would use this hotel again ................good start to route 66 and free transfer to Eagle Rider to pick up our harley more

All employees were very friendly 11/1/2010

When I reserved a room with a king size bed and put on my card I should have had this room held for me.I had a six hour drive and was not pleased by my room being given to another guest. The front desk was very polite and sorry for the problem. I received another room with two smaller beds, Not a serious problem because the staff was quick to remedy the problem. I had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and was pleased with the food and service. I would gladly stay at t his hotel anytime. All employees were very friendly and made my stay a pleasant one. The room was done thought the best western website and could have been their error in my room not available upon arrival. Thank You. more

We were looking for a restaurant in the immediate area and the front desk was friendly and gave us directions to a nearby mall with several choices. We found a nice place and also came back a few days later and ate at another one there. I like it when hotels have a book of nearby places and menus to look at more
