Before B & G Hardwood Flooring, I had started with three different contractors/installers who were supposed to do my floor work. Something went wrong with all of them, so when George of B & G finally came to help me figure out what we could do, it was great. He took the time and did the job. It was fast and done well! more

Polite and Quick! 6/17/2013

The owner of B&G Hardwood Flooring came out and measured very well-they suggested I do something and I am so glad I did. My washer and dryer had a divider door to the living room but I am so glad they convinced me to put flooring in there. The installers were polite and quick! No complaints! more

estimator never showed up 6/7/2013

Made an appointment for estimate for 3:00-3:30PM, three days in advance. Planned my day off for this visit and made sure dogs were put away and gate open. Two calls later to call center, and the rep finally calls back at 5:20PM. He then tells me that he never said he would be there at 3:00 and told me " good luck with another company". Not sure why this part of the service was so poor, but doesn't make me eager to hire them . RESPONSE FROM B & G Hardwood Flooring: I told DG I would be working that day and my best guess would be around 3. As I didn't know when I would be finished I told him I would call when I was on my way. He left two messages asking where I was because I didn't have cell service where I was at. When I called him after word he said he already called someone else. And yes I said "Good luck with the other company." I wasn't being sarcastic as I didn't even know who he called. more

B & G Hardwood Flooring put in an engineered hardwood floor for me. He always got back to me in a timely manner. He worked with my schedule and had it done in a day. It all worked out great. more

B & G Hardwood Flooring was recommended by our neighbor. They are extremely flexible and their attention to detail is outstanding. George was very willing to come back when we had some boards with scratches. He sent a guy over immediately to fix the problem. They are punctual and answered all of my questions immediately. The service is outstanding. more

B & G Hardwood Flooring did an awesome job! George is amazing! He is reliable. You call him and he picks up the phone. He even came by on the weekend, to drop off the baseboard. He did an amazing job with the installation and his price was way cheaper than the other estimates I received. more

B&G Hardwood is HONEST 3/15/2013

I had B&G Hardwood out to get a bid on refinishing a floor before we sold the house. George, the owner, took a look and said the floors were in pretty good shape for a sale and he would leave as they were and let the new owner make the choice as to how the floors would be stained, etc.! I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but the sales agent said he was right. He did give me a bid if I wished to go forward that was quite reasonable. This is a great company. more

The information given to me before the installation was complete, accurate, and helpful. The crew was timely and efficient. They got it done faster than the initial schedule given. Afterwards, the owners came over an inspected everything and gave me guarantees. They even assisted me in getting some money back from Lumber Liquidators because I had leftover supplies. more

Horrible Finished Job 1/10/2013

Don't waste your hard earned money with this contractor. He did job for Lumber Liquidators and now I've had to hire a third contractor to fix his crews messy, poor job. Terrible Job. more

They did a very nice job. 1/3/2013

We had them remove carpet and lay down hardwood in our master bedroom. It was about a 300 square foot job, so it wasn't huge. I found them online and read a few positive reviews. When I contacted them, I spoke with the receptionist and she had George get back to me that afternoon. He provided a quote to me the next day, then came out to look at the job. We found him to be professional and easy to talk to. We made arrangements for them to do the floor, and they did it quickly and did a very nice job. more

A great, easy experience. 8/6/2012

B & G Hardwood Flooring came in and matched an existing hardwood floor with new product that we had bought. They did a great job and are super honest. Because of a measurement issue, the actual bill came out to be $200 less than the estimate given. I'm sure that we wouldn't have noticed the difference and would have just paid the $200 extra but George adjusted our bill to reflect the actual price. You can't beat that kind of service! more

George and his crew were timely, efficient, professional and did a superb job installing the engineered hardwood flooring. After they had left, other than the beautiful new flooring, you would not have known they were here. I definitely recommend this company. more

I couldn't be more pleased with my hardwood floors. Service was excellent. I felt that my questions were address with care and attentiveness. I highly recommend B amd G hardwood floors. I'm so very pleased how my floors turned out. Another main ingredient was the pricing not only was it fair it might have been a little to my advantage. If you call B and G my guess is you'll be as happy as I am. more

I'd be more than willing to recommend them to anybody looking to put in flooring. 3/6/2012

I just did recommend B & G Hardwood Flooring. My experience with them been has been more than good. I had a difficult situation, and George had to flow with it. I ordered all the hardwood flooring, but he could only install it up to a certain point because another company put in a leaky front door a couple years back. I told George just to put down the hardwood up to a certain point, which was five feet in front of the door. Now I'm waiting for our next order to come in, and I'll proceed from there. They have been very amenable. George doesn't over charge--he's right on target. He's been doing this a long time, and his helpers, two younger kids that work under his oversight, did a great job. They're nice kids, very respectful, and they do a great job. more

My experience was one of astonishment that they could come in and do a quality job in such a short time. It really says something about their skill-set. 3/1/2012

B & G Hardwood Flooring were very good. They were excellent. Their three guys came in and they had everything tidy and straight, and they cleaned the place afterwards and made sure nothing had been damaged. The three of them all worked industriously all day long. I'd give them a ten out of five overall and recommend them to anybody who came along. They did their job, picked everything up, then left. more

Great workmanship! 2/23/2012

George and his crew did a fabulous job on our hardwood floors. We had them install over 1,200 sq feet of flooring and they exceeded my expectations. Not only was the end product excellent, they cleaned up each day and when the job was finished, they left our house in excellent shape. In addition, they finished a day early. I would highly recommend B&G to others. more

It was really good! B & G Hardwood Flooring did a great job keeping in touch with us and telling us the dates that they were going to be coming. B & G Hardwood Flooring was prompt when they got here and finished within the time frame. We were recommended to B & G Hardwood Flooring through the place where we got the flooring. I would totally recommend B & G for the price and because we got what we were looking for! more

Overall, it was a positive experience and I appreciated the work they did do. 12/8/2011

My experience with B & G Hardwood Flooring was good. They followed up on a half done floor, which turned out great. Except that they didn't fill in the holes before the put down the varnish. So it wouldn't stick once the varnish is down. Other than that, everything went well, and I would use them again, I would just have to be there while they worked. RESPONSE FROM B & G Hardwood Flooring: While sanding with the last paper any holes that appear have to be puttied after the finish is applied. Otherwise you will have putty smudges on the finished floor or you would have to sand it again to remove the putty from the raw floor. more
