Our combined furnace+a/c unit stopped blowing a/c in the late summer. A technician from another company said he saw an oil (?!) leak and the blower needed replacement. Until we could afford it, we were to not use the unit because the oil leak would cause more damage. When we stopped getting heat on the lower level, we turned the furnace off. \r

This time we called B & E after 5pm for an estimate. The service manager (Lisa) did everything she could to be sure we were seen the next day. The B&E tech (Todd) said he "could see nothing wrong" with the unit or with outflow amps measurement. He did spot a duct falling loose and taped it back up for no additional charge. I then explained what we had been told, to which he stated the system should have been running (with its built-in safety features) to reveal what was happening.
