Great staff that was capably able to handle the appointment via email and provided fast, comfortable and friendly service. I hadn't been to a dentist in 5 years and expected the worse when I went in for cleaning and x-rays. They provided honest feedback that my mouth was fine. Who knew?! Highly recommended. more

My experience at Awe Dental Spa 1/21/2012

I was just in the dentist to get a crown replaced. As usual it is always a pleasurable experience. You can't always say that about your dentist. Andrew and his staff do an excellent job! more

Another warm and wonderful dental experience... 1/21/2012

The title tells it all. How can one feel like that when going to the dentist? Seems hard to believe but Andy, his assistant, and very lovely receptionist make going to Awe Dental Spa a lovely experience. Andy always makes sure that I am doing ok by lots of check ins along the way which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is upbeat, esthetically beautiful, and very supportive. Thank you to all of you at Awe Dental Spa for redefining what a dental experience can be like. more

I always feel confident when sitting down in the dental chair, that Dr. Engel and his staff will give me the best, and most professional care, with the latest technology available. Dr. Engel is extremely skilled, and very good at telling the patient exactly what he is doing, and why it needs to be done. Also, he always provides options of treatment. I originally came to AWE Dental after a visit with another dentist and the periodontist he used (in two separate buildings and practices) Not liking all the back and forth with multiple appointments and questionable skill and bedside manner I found Dr. Engel. Suddenly everything became simplified and to the point. I needed some major work done and Dr, Engel and his staff took care of everything needed. Including serious periodontal work done in house, by the skill and precision of Dr. Engel and his staff. This saved me a lot of time and money. Something I will always be grateful for. My smile was saved! more

I think most of us cringe when we have a dentist appointment even if it is just an appointment for x rays and teeth cleaning...its that sitting in the dental chair with your mouth wide open....however, I have never had a bad experience with the staff at AWE Dental spa. Everyone is very welcoming and they make sure my visit is a very confortable and pleasant one. Thanks for being so kind and making sure all of us are comfortable! more

Teeth Cleaning 12/8/2011

Four month teeth cleaning appointment. Erica took good care of me. She explained what she was doing, why she was doing it - and also gave me tips to maintain my dental hygiene at home. As usual, Awe Dental Spa made the whole 'visit to the Dentist' as wonderful as it can be. Thank you. more

Awesome Service 12/8/2011

Always enjoy coming to see you all! Never have to wait longer than a few minutes and Sheila is so calm and friendly that it's fun to chat with her while waiting anyway! Emily and Dr. Engel are SO considerate, professional and informative - they make visits to the dentist a pleasurable experience which isn't easy to do! Of course, the Italian environment helps... all we need is some pasta and wine after an appointment! Glad you're in town! more

1st Dental Visit 12/6/2011

My overall experience was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and genuinely caring. The pricing was competitive with other dental offices and they were on time. I could not give 5 stars because of the artificial fragrances in the air from scented candles or air fresheners that caused my eyes and throat to become irritated during my visit. I would encourage AWE Dental Spa to eliminate the artificial fragances from the office, because it makes the air unhealthy to breath. Pure essential oils could be used to make the office smell nice, instead, and they have health benefits. more

Recent dental experiences 11/14/2011

My anxiety toward dental appointments used to rate very high to almost a phobia level. I could hyperventilate just making the phone call for an appointment. I would be so physically exhausted from nervousness for a cleaning it would take me several hours to calm down afterward. Those days are gone! I have never had such care taken for my wellbeing in the 50+ years I have been going to dentists. As far as I'm concerned Andy and the staff could set a broken leg for me and I'd trust them. Thank you so much Awe Dental for my turnaround, and my beautiful smile! more

Thank you Doctor Andy and Emily! You guys are fabuloso. Coming in very early on what seemed to be a jammed packed day to perform a rather delicate and extensive procedure on my teeth was so appreciated. I never feel any pain during the procedures or hours after. I often forget that I was at the dentist at all later in the day - can't say that has always been the case with other dentists. I thank you and my mouth thanks you. more

Dr. Engel went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as I could be. His assistant was very supportive and it was one of my best experiences at the dentist. I used to not go because anxious, but now, because of Dr. Engel, I will be going to regular suggested appts. more
