Purchased two half off depot coupons and sent an email asking what protocol was for them.. no return email. I called to ask my questions and was told I needed a consult. Just before I left I called the Julington creek location to make sure I did not need an appointment. It is 2 hours before they close and at first they tell me they can see me tonight. Then when I mention my coupons, they tell me to hold on... come back and tell me that they cant see me tonight and want to make an appointment a week out! This is strange since this is supposed be a place you dont have to make an appointment, just walk in. My husband calls back and all of a sudden the Dr. has a "family issue" and that's why he is leaving early... Yeah.. Right. I can respect someone who says he doesnt want to stay till 9 on a friday vs someone who makes up lies and treats me sub-par because I have a coupon.. Pros: null Cons: null more

I just wanted to state how disappointed I am in Avecina, I purchased two Groupons for 6 laser hair removal sessions for each one. I have gone to two sessions without incident. However I scheduled my third session for February 4th, 2012 which was a Saturday, and I drove the 30 minutes there and Avecina was closed so I drove another 30 minutes home?!?! So I called on Monday and asked what happened and the rep told me they just decided to close and there were no appointments for that day??? (I have the appointment card that the secretary gave me with the date and time on it) So I rescheduled for Saturday February 18th, 2012. I drove 30 minutes there and arrive and go to the counter to check in and the secretary asked me if anyone called me on Friday to cancel my appointment and I advised of course they didn't, that is why I am here because I have an appointment and was not contacted to cancel, and she says that the laser machine broke on Friday and the other secretary was supposed to call more

I really like the convenience of this place, fast and the assistant and Dr are friendly. However the Dr. prescribed almost $300 worth of prescriptions. The antibiotic alone was $135.00 Thankfully at Walgreens they told me this and called the dr office and changed my prescriptions. As a result I was charged only charged $30.00 after co pay. A significant reduction. If you go here be sure and ask how much the prescriptions will cost. I can't help but wonder why he did this? more
