Ava's Salon and Spa

I received one of the spa packages for a birthday present and I was so excited to go. I went on a Saturday and had one of the most relaxing days of my life. I walked out of there feeling like a completely new person. more

My wife treated me to the couples massage for our anniversary. I have to say I loved the hands and feet massage! Also, I've never had such a good deep tissue and back massage. The upper middle of my back feels amazing now! Thanks. more

I was just heading home from a long day at work and passed by Ava's Day Spa & Beauty. I thought I should probably go in and get a nice massage for myself. It seems affordable so I gave it a try. Staff were very kind and greeted me when I first walked in, which was nice. The massage was nice as well. I'll definitely return. more

This place is absolutely TERRIBLE! It's filty, dirty and unprofessional. I strongly do not recommend this place to anybody, you will be disappointed. The massage therapists are Not liscensed, the spa itself is Not liscensed, and the owner is CRAZY! They false advertise, the spa is nothing like the website looks or says. more

I was having a bad day at work so I just wanted to go somewhere to relax. I looked up online for spas close to my work place. I came upon Ava's Day Spa & Beauty Salon. I went through their rating on here and was amaze of how many people love the place. I thought why not give it a try. After work I went in and spoke to one of the staff there, which was very polite. Soon I was getting a massage and Wow it was like walking on air. The massage was the bomb bay. Made my day and felt very good. Now I am less tense not like before when I was stressing at work. couple months ago a family member bought spa packages at Ava's on Grand ....n i ask them to come and take a look around to see how the place looked like and i swear it looked more like a parlor than a salon and spa...i looked at the website and Damn that place did not look like the website at all...i don't know what so relaxing or soo good about this place ....i looked around and i just wanted to get out as fast as i can....so i called the family member who bought the gift certificate and wanted a refund...the ""owner"" Ava...never did refund our money...whenever we call in so many tiime all we did was left messages to her workers which they ddin't sound so happpy....then not long ago they went in and for some reason Ava the ""owner"" was in she was still doing her hair.....then they talked about the situation and out of no where this ""owner"" Ava started to yell just because she couldn't take a comment that her salon wasn't so high end and for the "" FALSE ADVERTISEMENT THAT SHE HAD ON THE WEBSITE"" she couldn't take a little insult which wasn't that bad.....who wouldn't be mad at the false info..like the LIVING SOCIAL that everyone is complaining about........Ava is a deceiving and dishonest person yelling at her customer...dont she know the ""CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT"" n where is yourself respect towards your customers.....wow i never met ava and she was something else......no ""respect' whatsoever.....no manners......HOW SAD......thank goodness i never wasted my time or money at this PLACE.......thank heavens more

Ava's Day Spa and Salon makes me so happy and my body so happy. This is like a wonderful steamroller (just one of the techniques). My hands and shoulders/back take a beating and she knows exactly how much pressure I can take and/or want while still being sensitive and really caring. Ex: I had a small tear in my shoulder she helped it to heal. The great attitude doesn't hurt either. more

I was visiting my sister in St. Paul for two weeks and we decided to splurge and have a girl's day out. We went to Avas Day Spa and it was just perfect. I had a great massage, facial and manicure and pedicure. It was just really a great day and great time for us. more
