I recently visited Automotive Excellence and they did some exhaust work for me. I'm happy with the quality they provided. Everything was good. It's a family-owned business and I like to support the local family companies. They were professional and friendly. I went to visit them one day; I didn't really want to commit. I got a feel for them and took a look at their shop. They seemed genuine; they're a father and son. I mostly dealt with the father. They're good people and run the business well. They've been at it for a while. I had a good experience and I plan on going back. more

I have an old truck that's a classic and Automotive Excellence has been a big help in servicing it. It's actually a rat rod, so it has lots of variable parts that don't correspond with other parts. They were able to take care of all the weird discrepancies I had and they were still timely, getting me in and out quickly. The prices are fair and they're just really good guys. They have helped me out numerous times. This most recent time the city had a power outage on the day I was supposed to come pick up my truck. They had to close up shop, but they called me on a cell-phone and went the extra mile to coordinate with me and get my car back to me. more

Automotive Excellence does excellent quality work. They finish the job quickly and have excellent customer service. They do work on exhaust systems and mufflers, and the result is always great. The technicians know exactly what they're doing. We use them on average about 10 to 20 times a month. At Automotive Excellence they take their time with explaining what needs to be done and they do one task at a time. They're not trying to multitask and up-sell everything like some garages do. They stay focused and on the task at hand and they're not getting side tracked fixing peripheral issues. I felt their pricing was fair and compatible with other shops of their nature. Their recommendations were also helpful as far as any notes and things to look out for that I might want to fix in the future. They provided quotes as food for thought as well. I didn't feel there was any price gouging or extra hidden fees or costs. Everything was exactly how they said it was going to be. I brought my car in most recently for a quick overall inspection and a tune up and then had them correct a steering box issue. I've mostly dealt with Alex and Evi there and they are both friendly, kind, and personable. They are an appointment only business, so you should be aware of that, and if you're thinking about having work done it usually helps for them to see the car first as opposed to talking about the issues you're having over the phone where they can only really give you ballpark estimates on the work. more

I have used Automotive Excellence for years. They always give me wonderful service. I have a 1966 convertible Mustang and they have been very helpful with fixing my brakes and anything else that I needed fixed. They are a great bunch of people and they treat my car with care and excellence. I have recommended them many times and will continue to do so. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. more

I would absolutely recommend Automotive Excellence. I actually just wrote a recommendation for them on yelp. I bought a 1971 El Camino for my son and it needed a lot of work and so the previous owner told me that they had been one of the repair shops that have done work in the car before and so the owner said: you should use them again, they are wonderful. So, I started working with them to make the car save for my new teenage son driver and he helped me prioritize what to get done first for safety before we moved on to the other things. They did such a wonderful job and they were so honest and fair in their pricing. They are so honest, so much that I eventually hired them to entirely rebuild the engine. They are fair and honest and they never try to inflate prices and they are so accurate with their estimates for how long it will take and how much it cost to do a repair or a service. Their warranty is also so good, I mean, they stand behind their work and if anything goes wrong like it happens sometimes, they will fix it at no charge. That has happened to me a couple of times in this car, something went wrong with a rebuild and they just fixed it. They are really great guys and I love them. more

All I have to say about Automotive Excellence is that they are top notch! A1! Rock solid! Father and son, you just can't beat it. I just found them out of the yellow pages and went there for the first time ever about a month ago. I have to say that they gave me the best service I have ever had in my whole life. Automotive Excellence are good. I think there's always room for improvement, but I am happy with them. I use them regularly. The price is okay and I can't complain. They're definitely honest with their customers and I will continue to use them. more

I had a generally positive experience with Automotive excellence. They do very good service there. The staff is great. It's a father and son team and they are very helpful. My only complaint is they could maybe be a bit more competitive with pricing. I went in for one thing but realized in the process that it was going to cost a lot more than I thought. I hoped it might be about $200, but there were some other issues and it ended up costing more like $2000. I originally chose Automotive Excellence based off reviews I saw online. I picked them to see if the positive hype online was where it was at. After some more research I found out I could have had it done cheaper elsewhere, so that's why it wasn't the best experience I could have had. I should have done more shopping before. I didn't get all my service needs taken care of there because I was able to find cheaper service elsewhere. The initial quote was really high for the actual items. I only wanted to commit to giving them some work because of the time they took doing their diagnostic. I don't think they were being disingenuous or anything. Like I said their service is very good, but I saved some money by having some of the service done elsewhere. So, all in all I'd say they're a great business and do good work, but if you're looking to save some money you might want to shop around. I'm a firm believer that saving money doesn't always mean you will get a better service. Trust your gut, go down there and meet them first and see if they are the ones for you. more

Automotive Excellence put in an exhaust kit for my truck, and I thought their service was great. Actually, I have used them a couple times before and had an issue during one of my visits. I was so impressed with Alex and his customer service, that I figured I would try them again. They took care of me, and I was definitely compensated for the error.
