I bought a 2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring from Autonation Honda Roseville and the overall experience was great. The internet salesperson, Dominick Daurizio, was extremely knowledgeable and easygoing. He let me leave the dealership after my first test drive without any hassle (the Toyota dealership was the complete opposite... I felt like I was being kidnapped). About 2 weeks later, after I had narrowed it down to the car I liked, I came back ready to buy and Dominick was easy to negotiate with. I also had the luxury of having a friend with me who is a GSM at another dealership, so he made cutting through the haggling hassle/process very easy.\r \r The financing went smoothly as well. I brought in a pre-approval from Golden One, which had me at 2.79% APR for 60 months and their department got a me a deal at 1.9% for 60 months. Quick and easy. \r \r My only hangup at all was when I was going over all the warranties and services they offer. I don t remember the gentlemen s name, but he had just bit of that sleazy salesman feel to him. Don t get me wrong, he was polite and all, but even after my buddy (the GSM who knows the ins and outs) told him to please just give us his best prices up front, he still went into cheesy salesman mode. Only after I declined the extremely high priced 7 year warranty (well over $2,000) did he remember that there was some specials and some Honda cash that he forgot about. After dropping the price a bit, and adding an extra year onto the warranty, did I go ahead and purchase it. My friend let me know that he could have gone lower, but it was already close to 11pm and I was ready to get the show on the road. \r \r Overall, I was very happy with my experience purchasing my Honda Accord V6 Touring from them. The sales department was extremely, friendly, fast and accommodating. I m reading a plethora of 1 star comments on their service department, so I m really hoping that I have a positive experience with them when I go in for oil changes and repairs. more

Horrible Service Dept 7/15/2012

We bought a new 2007 Caliber there in 2006. We bought a 6 year warranty and all this extra care stuff that they will do for free. I brought the car in to the service dept in 2008 to have the $4,000 rims and tires that we bought with the car for a balance and rotate. I waited for about 2 hours and then someone came out and said they bent the front driver side rim and that they had to order a new one. Come to find out, they discontinued our rims, so they said that there was 1 car left on the lot with our exact rims. So, I waited another 2 hours and finally someone comes out and says that they sold the car on the the lot and now we will have to order 4 new rims. They said they would pay for the rims, so I was cool with what happened, except for the fact that I had waited for 4 hours. So, a week goes by and they finally replaced the rims on the car. When we got the car, it pulled to the left and the steering wheel began to shake as soon as I hit 60 mphs. I took it back and they said nothin more

Worst auto-buying experience ever! 7/13/2010

I bought a 2002 Dodge Dakota from this dealer a few years ago and paid WAY OVER retail for it. That was my fault, but when I had a problem with it (in less than 30 days) it wasn't covered. Another $1,000 down the drain. A week later another major problem developed. That was $2,000 more dollars. The dealer was no help, I tried my best to negotiate a better price on the repairs and got ZIP! When I complained to the manager I was basically told to pay the price and find another dealer to fix the truck. I have since bought two other vehicles, but none of them from Autowest. more
