Good service, poor value 1/25/2010

I was treated very nicely at the counter by Jeremy. But, after paying $100 some dollars for a diagnosis, I was not given a writen estimate, he just wrote the quantity on another receipt. Even worse, Brandon Honda offered to do the same job diagnosed for $100 dollars less. My impression of getting a good value for car service here is going away. RESPONSE FROM Auto Works of Brandon: Customer received a refund for service. Thank you for your honesty and time. That is the only way we can improve our level of service more

I have used Auto Works ever since the warranty period expired on my auto. I have found them to be honest and open. They have always done excellent work (service) at a fair price. I trust them and would recommend them to even my closest friends. more

An honest mechanic!! 1/18/2010

I have been taking my Dodge Caravan to Auto Works for at least 2 years. I normally replace a vehicle every 4 to 5 years but I am now convinced that if I continue to use their services, that I can keep my 2005 car for 7 to 1o years. There is never a doubt of the honesty of their recomendations. If you need to rent a car while your vehicle is in the job they have contacts in the rental area with great prices and great door to door service. more

I stumbled upon Auto Works of Brandon when looking for a place to get my BMW serviced at a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the honesty and work that was done. While work on any BMW is almost always expensive it was nice to feel that I was not getting taken for a ride on the BMW Owners... take them for everything repair. more

New Customer 1/14/2010

I am new to the area, had a coupon for an oil change @ Auto Works of Brandon. I was treated well, car was ready not too long after promised. The estimate (given to me for other work they say needed done) I felt was in the high range, so I will shop around to compare prices @ other establishments. It seems I always get high estimates the first time I patronize an auto business. Seems they never stop to think that because I am a women, I don't know how to work on cars, or can diagnose problems myself! How wrong they are! more

Excellent service and customer care 1/14/2010

I had a new car radio installed and the technician disconnected my passenger side airbag, but denied it. Brandon Autoworks found the disconnect and took pictures of it for me. They reconnected the airbag and made sure everything else in my car was working correctly. They printed out a full color picture of the disconnected airbag which I used to prove to the car radio installers that they made a mistake. Because of the picture from Brandon Autoworks the store reimbursed me the total bill. Brandon Autoworks were so friendly and helpful. I would bring my Honda to them for any repair! more

I contacted Auto Works in response to their advertisement for an oil/filter change. The service I got was a great value and it included a multi-point vehicle inspection. The work recommended was accurate and I was not pressured in any way. I followed up a week or so later with several repairs/scheduled maintanance. I was kept aware of any developments during the repairs and given excellent advice on my options during the whole process. The valet service was a bonus. I would certainly recommend anyone to use Auto Works in the future. A good mechanic is worth their weight in gold these days. more

Best Warranty!!!!!!! 6/4/2008

This is a great shop with personal service. They have shuttle service and took me home all the way to Sun City and picked me up when my car was ready. Plus I got a 2 year warranty on my services. This was a great find! Pros: Shuttle Service and Warranty more

WON'T BE GOING BACK 5/29/2008

My daughter brought her car in for an oil change special. They found some work, that it looks like the car does need. She was uncomfortable with the service advisor, he asked her out.
