As winter is getting near. Check your Antifreeze protection, Tires and Wiper Blades. Have your battery checked. Carry a blanket, water and a snack in your car. A small emergency kit with jumper cables, fix a flat, Flares and a couple hand warmers would be a great idea to keep handy. more

Looks like the son is starting to take 5/24/2012

Looks like the son is starting to take over the business and he lacks the common sense to run a good business. Hesitant to fix their mistakes and not willing to compensate their customers for their wasted time. I don't even know what the woman at the front desk does. She doesn't appear to know anything about cars and that's a real pain when you call the shop. I will not be going back. more

Ken's Auto Sense, The Place That Makes Sense 1/9/2011

If you are looking for a Auto Center you can trust, Ken's Auto is the right place. Nice friendly atmosphere. They are very knowledgeable about my vehicle. I wouldn't dream of taking it to any other place. more

Wonderful Service, Wonderful People 1/6/2011

I've been coming here for the past year and I have never had better work done on my car. I can count on Ken's Auto Sense to not only do great work on my car, but honest work, which sadly is almost impossible to find. Not only is the service commendable, but they work with you to give you what you need for what you can afford all while giving professional, experienced service. Family operated and locally owned, Auto Sense of Millersville, MD is the best choice by far for your car. more

Fantastic Auto Service 11/11/2010

The service at Ken's Auto Sense exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a honest group of mechanics who are very thorough, then this is the place. After the initial inspection, Ken walked me through what needed replacing, and explained why. I highly recommend them. more

Best in town for Auto Service!! 11/9/2010

This place exceeded my expectation with the friendliness of the staff as well of the excruciating detail they go into about your vehicle. They treat you as if you are family. The price for the service and everything was superb. I wish I had found them long time ago and I would've had piece of mind bringing my vehicle in for service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THEM!!! more

Friendly people 10/4/2010

We have just recently found this place and have found them to be friendly and fair. They have answered all our questions and even have asked to help us with other problems. It is located right by our house and is very convenient. They will actually talk to you and not treat you like you are just a number. The pricing is reasonable. Will take the time to help answer instead of making you feel like you are disturbing them. more

Ken Quasney's Auto Sense - Old-fashioned values 9/15/2010

Stop me if you've heard this one before: your car is acting funny or won't start, so you need to get it into the shop and get it looked at. You call the dealer and they say they can take you in about a week. Ugh. So you run it down to the local mechanic, wondering just how much you're going to end up paying, what *else* they'll find ""wrong"" with your car, and whether the problem you brought it in for to begin with will even be fixed! Needless to say, before finding Ken, this was my typical experience. There were even a couple occasions where the mechanic installed broken parts into my car that necessitated a return trip to fix the problem they created! ""Auto mechanic"" had literally become a four-letter word to me. But then I (or I should say, my wife), discovered Ken Quasney's Auto Sense. They always treated her well and, shocker, fixed her vehicle without any fuss, sometimes for *less* than what they estimated. Say what? Personally, I was skeptical. (Can you blame me?) But I let her take my vehicles in, and yep, they came back in good shape. Eventually I had to meet these guys and learned that Ken and his wife Rose have been doing this for a mighty long time - this is a true family business. (Do those even exist anymore?) And what's more, they don't just pay lip service to ""treating their customers like family,"" they mean it. I mean, Ken and Rose came to my wife's funeral to pay their respects - would your mechanic do that? Look, nothing I say here is going to convince you that these are good folks who know what they're doing, will shoot straight with you, and won't charge you more than they have to. But if you don't give them at least a chance to impress you, you're really missing out on not only a good customer experience (which is rare enough nowadays), you're likely hurting your pocketbook. Your call, mate. more

Auto Sense - Best Repair Shop 9/8/2010

I discovered Ken's Auto Sense about 10 years ago and have been bringing my cars to them ever since. I remember that when I first started bringing my car to Ken, he treated me with respect and made me feel like a valued customer. He took time to answer questions and explain what was going on with my car. Every question, no matter how great or small was important to Ken. I came to trust and respect him and his business integrity. I knew that Ken wouldn't recommend repairs that weren't needed. Quite the opposite. There were many times over the years when we'd discuss a problem with the car and Ken would say that the work didn't need to be done at that time. I found his rates fair and the quality off work exceptional. Ken always stands by his service and has built his business on the excellent craftsmanship of his mechanics, service to his customers, and business ethics and integrity. I can and do, without qualms, recommend Ken's Auto Sense as the number one place to go for auto service and repairs. more

Superior service - Customer and Auto 9/2/2010

Have never found a more honest and reputable auto service and repair shop. I've been coming to Ken's for a good many years and have never had a major problem with anything he's done. This shop is the Cadilac of auto service in the Glen Burnie area. Ken and Rose are the greatest. Both of my daughters rely on Auto Sense for their automotive service, as well. Prices are very reasonable and his work is guaranteed. I would highly recommend the shop to anyone in need of auto service. Keep up the good work!! more

Great Operation 9/2/2010

Ken's Auto Sense is the best automotive repair shop that I have ever dealt with. The owner/operator and his wife are very personable. Ken will not do unnecessary repairs on your vehicle. If something needs to be done, he will tell you before anything is done to your vehicle. My entire family brings their vehicles to Ken's Auto Sense and will continue to do so. Honest, reliable, friendly, courteous. Can't ask for anything more. Prices are reasonable and service is out of this world! I suggest you come here for your next automotive maintenance. more

A warranty that cant be beat 8/24/2010

Autosense has taken care of all of my family vehicles for years now. I've been to several other repair shops before and none make you feel as welcome and at home as Autosense does. As if having the best customer service wasn't enough to warrant this 5 star rating, the warranty they give you for free with every single repair is double that of what most other locations give you, even some dealers. See you guys in another 3k miles for my next oilchange Autosense. more

GREAT SERVICE 8/24/2010

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, NO WORRIES, I FEEL SAFE WITH MY VEHICLE AT AUTO SENSE ALWAYS more

Great place and great people 3/4/2010

I have been going to Auto Sense for 9 years. I have never had any problems what so ever. I started going there after I had issues at another repair shop and my friend told me about the place. I have been going there ever since. They are the only people that I trust. The people there are very nice and help me out as much as possible. The coffee is always hot and fresh. \r \r Every time I go in for work they do a great job of looking over my car. If I need any work they let me know about it and if there are other things that need to be done but not right now they let me know about those as well .... just for the future, that way I am not caught off guard and I can prepare for it. I have never had any issues with the repairs that I have had done there. They have a better warrenty then most other shops that I have been to including the dealer where I bought my car. They also have a shuttle service that will take me home or even to grab some lunch if I am waiting. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Avoid Auto Sense 9/26/2008

Most auto repair shops are fair when they charge for parts and labor. The rest will take the customer to the cleaners. For example. PCV Valve cost $ 5.00 the customer can install it themselves. Certain auto repair shops don't mind telling the customer they need a PCV Valve weather they need it or not. Customer is told part cost $100.00 plus $50.00 for labor. Customer says ok I guess I need this. Later the customer finds out how bad he or she got clipped. Thats how they learn. A few will learn anyway. This is what happened to me at Auto Sense. They gave me gifts, coffee mug, ink pen and ask for my DOB, so they could send me a birthday card. I wrote a list of things my vehicle needed done. My list was kind of wordy and filled with details, but I only needed 4 things done to my truck. They were. Flush and fill cooling system, check front end parts for ware. Check ABS brakelite trouble and the U joint for ware. Auto Sense came back to me with a long list of parts to replace and repairs to be made and the estimate was $2,100.00. I said forget it I'm out of here. Many of the repairs Auto Sense wrote down on the estimate were wrong. They were fake repairs or things I didn't want them to bother with. The following list of parts and repairs were added by Auto Sense to my to do list and are wrong and unnecessary . Upper Control Arms for Ball Joints--Left Stop Lite out--Rear ABS Sensor--Mass Air Flow Sensor--Batter Terminals need cleaning--Master Cylinder--Differental Leak--.My original to do list had 4 things written on it. They added 7 more repairs that I was not concerned about or having trouble with. Plus Auto Sense said "" Customer advised vehcle unsafe to drive"" It's been 5 months since this warning and my vehicle has not crashed or burned yet. Auto Sense did get away with clipping for $273.34 for colling system servicing and connecting the vehicle to the Comprehensive Diagnostic Machine. They did that without my permission. Avoid Auto Sense. Pros: Auto Sense will give away a nice coffee mug. Cons: Auto Sense will try to do more work than is really needed. They will make work & repairs. more
