Great Service! Fast!!! 9/9/2011

Fast! I needed a broken laptop screen replaced and they ordered a new screen, recieved the new screen, and replaced my old screen... all within a span of about 24 hours! Robert was so helpful and communicative during the whole process! He gave me the upfront information I needed, was very attentive and knowledgeable, and called me when my laptop was ready. Very reasonable price. No issues whatsoever. more

Good Work! 5/11/2011

My computer had been unstable for a while before it died completely, so I was dreading the worst when I started shopping for tech help. Robert at Austin PC Tech explained the best- and worst-case possibilities in language I could actually understand, the shop called when they made the diagnosis, they completed the work one day after I dropped it off AND the cost was exactly what they said it would be. I have a lot of confidence in these folks. No unnecessary work, no upcharges, great service in a timely manner at a fair price. more

Excellent Customer Service and Highly Skilled 11/5/2010

Everytime I have had computer issues I have brought my computer here due to the employees knowing how to work in a timely manner and a sense of urgency. They do a great job at calling you with your diagnostic the same day you drop your computer off. And they usually have it fixed within the next day or two. They can reinstall all your precious programs for $100.00. I've had seperate issues with my hardware and software and they've managed to fix it. It runs better and is more protected. I highly recommend them. They provide fair and honest options. They also always check on how your computer is running after giving it back. more

My Laptop run s faster than when I first bought it. 6/12/2009

Took in my Dell Inspiron 1525 on a monday and got it back the following Thursday and I swear the thing run s faster than the day I had it shipped to me from the Dell Factory. Mike and Robert were very friendly and helpful. My hard drive crashed and it only cost me a hundred bucks to get it fixed. Thankfully the part was covered by my warranty. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone needing help with their PC. Pros: Fast, inexpensive, friendly more

Fast and honest service 6/10/2009

My wife and I were referred to Austin PC Tech by a friend and after having taken our broken computer to them, we have been nothing short of amazed. First we took it to one of their competitors who quickly told us that the computer was not able to be fixed without replacing the motherboard and quoted us a price of over $400 to do so. They also said it would take roughly 10 days to get it back. We decided to get a second opinion from Austin PC Tech who indicated they could repair our problem for only $145 which they did and we got it back the very same day. What a difference between repair companies. We recommend Austin PC Tech to anyone in need of computer repair and we will continue to use their services for years to come. Thanks Austin PC Tech for a job well done. Pros: Got my computer back fast, fair price, honest service more

knowledgeable people, fast service 9/25/2008

Had to replace the dc jack on my dell. Great that my computer crapped on me days before my video project was due. Called Mr. Notebook and they said they would have to have to have my computer for 9-10 days!!! Stumbled across these guys on the internet and glad I did- they finished the job by the next morning and even took some time to make my computer faster! Now theres not a near as bad as lag whenever im working on my video compilations. Dont know that they did but they definitely work the magic on my computer Mike even took the time to give me a few pointers on how to prevent the jack from getting messed up again. These guys rock! Definitely coming back if i run into problems again. Pros: Fast! everything works better than when it came from dell factory more

Computer came back fried 8/25/2008

I made the mistake of not booting the computer up in front of someone so I could prove that my OS was fine.\r My hard drive was no good when i got it back then they said ""how do we not know it was like that when you brought it in"" Maybe because I would not have paid money to fix a Dc jack on a computer that had a bad hard drive!!!! Pros: Guess I will have to get a new laptop Cons: Poor service more

my laptop power outlet recently decided to give me the finger . i called the owner and asked for pricing, etc. i made it very clear that i would go to someone else if he couldnt finish it that day ( i was doing a research study in the morning and neeeeded that laptop).he told me it would be ready if i brought it in that morning. i raced up north from south austin to drop off my computer. i dropped it off at another business that he has a mailbox at since his specific store does not have a storefront. by the time it had been dropped off i decided to stay up north and wait since this was a very important trip not to mention it was a waste of time to drive down south. after lunch, i called to check on the progress (130 pm) and get an estimated pick up time. he said my laptop would be looked at this afternoon ( wasn't it the afternoon already?) and should be ready between 4-5. i waited until 5 and called to make sure it was ready and he didn't answer! i showed up to the business i dropped my laptop at and asked what the deal was. apparently the owner had not even picked up the laptop! he wasted my whole day and didnt even look at my computer! bad performance. Pros: none. Cons: and the list goes on. more
