Whirlpool online scheduler made an appointment with this company. They called me stating I had to pay an $80 service fee by Mastercard or Visa prior to coming to my home. In over 30 years of having service done in my home this is the first company that has ever requested to be paid to show up at my door. Check other companys folks no one else has this policy. more

BRANDON C. came to fix my washing machine and I watched everything he did. I saw what a sloppy job he did putting the washing machine back together but did not say anything since this is not my line of work. He gets paid to fix appliances, I do not, so I assumed that he knew what he was doing, or at least knew that it was his job to do everything right. He did fix the problem, however, when I went to excitedly wash my first load of laundry at home for the first time in 8 weeks, I noticed that pieces of my washer were sticking out and he did not put my agitator back on at all, it was just sitting in the washer. SO now I have loose parts and can not wash because I have to call this company once again to come out and put my brand new washer back together correctly Pros: fixed in a timely manner Cons: sloppy ass work more

i have not had this kind of exceptional service in quite some time. TJ is a true genteman and is very professional and courteous. He was friendly and informative regarding the entire repair process. I insist on this company for any and all units purchased from Lowes. TJ was timely and always called on time. I want to make sure everyone at Austec knows of the exceptional employee they have. Justin J gave me great service. I purchased a new Frigidare upright freezer from Lowes in September 2008 and have had a problem since I bought it where frost and ice build up on the top of the door frame by the gaskey. I have had three different service companies come out to try and fix this problem over the last several months and their technicians have attempted to fix teh problem multiple times. Justin came out last week and said he needed to order a repair kit for the door. He got it ordered and came out yesterday to install it. so far, no frost or ice is building up on the door frame and seal and I believe that this may be the fix that has been needed for so long. I can't tell you how much time and frustration trying to get this problem fixed has caused in trying to work with the other service companies and Electrolux. Many of the companies didn't even show up when I had scheduled appointments and they didn't follow through in ordering and needed kit. more

A service call was put in to Austec on 09/03/2009 and the TV was finally fixed on 09/21/2009, or so the appointment lady stated. This has yet to come to fruition, much like anything else that the women on the other line say. A call was placed on 09/16/2009 early in the morning, and the woman on the other end could give me no answers as to where my part was. I had already recieved 2 of the parts, and was waiting on another one I was told was ordered at the same time, it was not. One promise after another revelaed that the parts had about a 2 day turnaround, when in fact it was more like 2 1/2 weeks, not 2 days. The ladies at the other end of the line are quick to jump on your case if the questioning becomes too difficult for them to answer, and are sometimes blunlty rude. This service is a JOKE, and if I had to pay for it, meaning SAMSUNG had outsourced them, I would be highly pi@#$# off!!! I already am, and would never recommend this service to anyone who doesn't have to take it. Find another company, just read the reviews from people like I did!!! I had called another company and they wouldn't be able to come out to even look at my washer until the next week. I called Austec and they were out the next day, ordered part needed for repair, and were back completing repair by the third day. I am happy to have my washer up and running better than in a long time. Pros: Very friendly staff and knowledgable technician! Cons: none from my experience more

Thank you for your perserverance in fixing my washing machine. You don't appreciate having one until you have one that doesn't work! I had given up on this one but Justin figured it out. I think it was a weird problem with inconsistent symptoms and I give Justin a lot of credit for fixing it. They took 3 weeks to fix my fridge. So that it could die a month later. When I called them up, their incompetent superviser / manager told me too bad. Later on I found out that they used OLD parts for my fridge. On top of that, the junk they used was the wrong brand. What a fraud. They don't even deserve a rating. Had someone yell at me over the phone, said they're being ""assertive"". I dont seem to have a choice with service centers because any calls to my appliance maker get sent to them, but if I do, I certainly wont choose them, ever. Pros: None yet Cons: Headline says it all more
