I love the work that Jim and Audio Video Salon does, and I love the system I just purchased from them, as well as the one I bought from them 11 years ago. I was ecstatic with the way he sold the product, I was ecstatic with the installation, I was ecstatic when he installed the system 11 years ago, and I'm still ecstatic with it! The system he installed only 3 weeks ago: ecstatic with that one too! When Jim and his guys came to do the installation, they ran into a couple of problems. Had experiences with other ¨full service¨audio video outfits. Once you pay them, getting periodic service (which you will need) can be very difficult and frustrating. Audio Video Salon is not the cheapest outfit, but by far the most thorough, professional, and reliable company i have dealt with in this industry. more

Was having a problem with an existing Nouvo (?) system that had an I-pod docking station and Sirius radio with LCD control screens and speakers throughout my loft. Dean came in and evaluated the situation, made solid recommendations with estimates. Removed the old system and upgraded to a Sonos system which is amazing. I no longer need my I-pod docking station as all my music is stored on a hard drive and controlled from my computer or I-phone, including Sirius radio, plus more, and no problems. He also installed a Blue Ray player, a fan to keep the equipment cool, and a new much better universal remote to a projection TV with a drop down screen. They are incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, do what they promise. After having a bad experience the first time around, working with Audio Video Salon was a dream. All that said, it all comes with a cost. They are not inexpensive, but they are worth it. more

All very good, but invoicing was less good than expected. No problems with what was charged, but given very little warning when they were debitting my credit card. more

Where do I begin? Top notch personnel. Top notch advice. Unparalleled knowledge. And, unlike so many others in the audio/video world, (i) a focus on the "right" solution, rather than the costliest; and (ii) no "slavish" devotion to brands, fads, etc., rather what is the most effective (performance, cost, etc.) solution. And, finally, we always say that leadership "comes from the top". The owner is one of the best folks I've ever met, and his staff are cut from the same cloth. I have used Audio Video Salon for more than one job. They are always responsive and they know the best equipment at a given price point. They have changed equipment that I have not been happy with, and always swapped it out without extra charges or any aggravation. I highly recommend them. more

I have never seen a place like Audio Video Salon, where you can get all of the information, choices, and expertise that they provide. As a musician, I make and listen to a lot of music. With the new sound system that I purchased from them, I am hearing stuff in my own music that I have never heard before. I highly recommend Audio Video Salon because they deal with only the best-quality sound systems and they have a very knowledgeable staff. When I went in, they gave me a demonstration of all kinds of different speakers. I initially just bought speakers from them and then went back and purchased an entire sound system, all top-of-the-line equipment.
