Auchinachie Plumbing Heating & Air

I would never recommend Auchinachie to any of my friend or even my enemies. I have dealt with them for the past 8 yrs. The last two I spent with my furnace blowing cold air. I let it run continuously waiting for Auchinachie to show up and diagnosis it. After numerous parts and over 17 visits to my house I decided to void my warranty and hire a retired handy man who managed to fix the furnace in 40 minutes. I will never allow Auchinachie in my home again. Have filed with BBB. My advice to you is buyer beware, document EVERYTHING if you have to deal with them and if not bound by some crazy warrany - call someone else. Angies list rates them with an F, they will not appear as they are not recommended. more

having terrible time with Auchinachie plumbing... they installed 50 gal. water heater 1500 dollars...a whole forced hot air heating system 6300 bucks which they installed in attic for second floor apartment!!!... i didn't know at time but when first floor water heater pilot went out !!! both floors had no hot water!!!!!!!! the crew not only ran the water pex line from first floor water heater to attic heater i just found out they ran the gas from the water heater in first floor to the heating system in attic!!!and top it offf the he's trying to tell me that it was what i wanted him to do!!...for crying aloud does two apt's 2 gas meters and 2 electric panels tell this guy anything!!! i've spent over 13000 dollars into this project . i'll let you know how this plays out,ok? mike oneil on northside of binghamton more

Called them for an emergency service for my heating/cooling system (I wish I did not). Technician's technical and troubleshooting skills need development. The wiring diagram was provided to the technician the moment he walked in, but he ignored it and struggled with wiring until I suggested he used the diagram and actually showed him how the connections should be made. He was not familiar with "X R B/C G W" configuration, although, I am pretty sure, it is a very common connection scheme. The technician has suggested to do absolutely unnecessary rewiring of the system (obviously to charge me more), which I refused to do. \r \r The problem was the 24V transformer. After transformer was replaced, the wireless thermostat couldn't reconnect back to the receiver. Although it was working fine before the repair, Auchinachie wouldn't take any responsibility.\r \r The technician was not clear about the pricing upfront. While taking to him on the phone, he mentioned emergency charge but couldn't giv more

I was really pleased with my new Kinetico water system, my family notices a big difference in our water, especially showering. I also feel good knowing the water is safe to drink-can't be too healthy these days! The guy that came to my house was very nice and he worked quickly-I appreciate that. I recommend Auchinachie's service to everyone. more

They are always on time, very courteous, and professional. They wear booties whenever they are in our home and, they leave everything very neat and tidy. Even when we had an emergency and our furnace had to be replaced in the middle of winter. They put a new Boiler system in, in one day. We went with a Boiler system so that we'd always have hot water without waiting, like you have to wait for a regular hot water heater to refill and heat up again. Plus it's so much more efficient than the furnace system that we had. We're so glad they recommended the system they did! Our bills have dropped noticeably. We're Auchinachie customers for life! more
