Gotten too big for patient service. 4/9/2012

I have been going to Auburn Primary Care, Dr. Schlossberg for several years now. When I first began seeing this physician he was able to take time with me and his staff was personable and consistent. However, in the last two years I have noticed a change. There is little to no time for patient interaction with the Dr., and the front office staff is impolite at best. While the nursing staff is more friendly than the office staff they are less competent. I was literally stuck by EVERY NURSE THERE in order to draw one vile of blood! It seems the practice has gotten to be for patient service. Now I must come in every few months to pay a co-pay to get a medically necessary prescription refilled, ridiculous - no blood is drawn so what is the point of the visit except to extort money from my insurance company and me. Auburn Primary Care have become too big to focus on patient services, but not too big to focus on their own bottom line. \r While I really like Dr. Schlossberg, and would recommend him personnally he is but a part of his practice and the practice at large is a flop! more

Top Notch Doctor in our small town 8/4/2010

Dr. Schlossberg is located in Auburn, but provides the kind of care you'd expect in a big city, like Atlanta. He has a great bedside manner and really cares about his patients. Every time I go in, he asks about my husband and my children, and even my pets! What I love the most about the practice is that it's a ""one-stop shop"" because he treats not just women, or children, or people with a particular problem, but the entire family. His nurse practictitoner is great too. This doctor is the best, almost always runs on time (all doctors have emergencies) and is thorough and smart. I give him my highest rating and recommend that you go see him too. You'll be in good hands. more

Great Doctor!! 10/31/2008

I have been going to Dr. Schlossberg for over 6 years and he is one of the top doctors that has ever treated me. He has always taken the time to listen to my issues and to provide the proper treatment. I have crohn's disease, diabetes and heart disease (with a quintuple bypass) and Dr. Schlossberg has managed my overall treatment very well, working hand in hand with the other specialist I have to see. In my opinion he is a top flight primary care physician. \r \r If you want a knowledgeable doctor that works well with his patients, then he's your man. He has a great attitude and does not put himself above his patients as you see with some doctors.\r \r Compared to other doctors I see, he come's closer to seeing me at my appointment time than any of the doctors I see. \r \r As far as the other review saying that he has total disregard for his patients, I call BS on that Pros: Very knowlegable doctor who works well with his patients more

TOTAL DISREGARD FOR PATIENTS 7/27/2007

I've been here a few times. The first couple of times were ok, but this last time proved that they could care less about how they treat patients. I was there for a routine TB skin test (had to get screened for getting into grad school) and went the first time to get the shot, no problem. I was told I did NOT need an appointment--and I tried to schedule one anyway and was refused--for the doctor to read the skin test, to just come back on Friday, that it would take about ten minutes max. After two trips up there (the first time I was told they were really busy and I should come back precisely at two pm and I would then be THE FIRST PERSON seen after he got back from lunch), an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting, an angry boss (because it was supposed to have taken FIFTEEN minutes MAX), and a lost hour of work equalling more than fifty dollars, I will not be going back. Ever. Pros: maybe if you're in personally with the doc he'll see you Cons: office staff lies, forgetful doctor, extremely outrageously long wait times more
