I have to agree with most of the ""doesn't recommend"" reviews. They do not return phone calls and do not come back to a job once it is finished. I had some gutter work done, it was not done properly, and ""Rick"" the manager didn't return any of my calls. Long story short, they don't stand behind their work. more

Got an NSTAR energy audit and was referred to this company. When I called to schedule, I began asking questions about how extensive the work would be, whether I would need to move furniture, what would be included or not to repair the walls afterward, etc, and recieved very brief, and unhelpful answers, such as ""The contract you signed with mass save answers that"". Well, if I'm having major weatherization work done that will take 2 weeks to complete, I want to ask a few questions about it and have a conversation about what it will entail! If there were any conflicts that came up during the construction (as I'm sure happens from time to time with any company), I shudder to think what the dialogue would be like. No thanks! more

When you blow insulation into a vented attic, you are supposed to install baffles to keep the insulation away from soffit vents. We had our insulation work done by Atlantic Weatherization under the state rebate program. It's only a couple of years later that we've learned that they did the attic insulation wrong and blocked our soffit vents. This causes heat to build up in the attic, shortening the life of the roof and potentially causing mold damage. Thing is, the baffles are dirt cheap! I attribute the mistake to lack of training/expertise. Pros: Did the job quickly and cheaply. Cons: Did not install soffit baffles. more

please consider this company very serious before they enter your house. They do no safeguarding from your personal belongings and if an object is in their way consider it trash. I can't believe the amout of celious they laeve in home as if it was good to eat.. they say it's not harmfull. i can write on and on but be carefull of blowing walls out. it's my fault i overlooked the pevious review. i am making call to the state's highest agency to show them pictures of what it looked lile a commercial construction site. I met these guys through a state-funded weatherization program. They were supposed to be ""helping"" my disabled mother by sealing up her house and ventilating it properly. The state approved us for a certain amount of money to get certain things done, such as, blown insulation, new doors with seals, caulking the windows, going into the basement with foam and the regular pink insulation, insulating all of the remaining doors that lead directly outside, and they were supposed to install a bathroom vent and 4-6 mushroom vents on the roof.
