Atlantic Seafood Co

I grew up in Baldwinsville and eat at Atlantic Seafood whenever I go home. Take-out places don't stay in business for decades when all the food is horrible, as one reviewer characterized it. That reviewer stated: ""The fish was horrible and way over cooked and dry as a bone. Also very greasy."" How fried fish can be both 'dry' AND 'greasy' is beyond me; those are opposites. That's such nonsense that it makes me wonder whether a competitor wrote the review. Or someone with a vendetta against the owners. NB: This fish IS cooked thoroughly and not half way to sashimi. more

I am not sure why anyone would give these guys a poor review and I wanted to clarify it for anyone who reads here. This place has been around since when my grandparents were young. I have been going here for seafood my entire life and my father has for the majority of his as well. All of their seafood is top nitch cooked to perfection. The clams are perfectly fried not lik any other place where they come out hard like little rocks. The seafood is the best, fish sandwhiches are out of this world, fried haddock is unbeatable and never dry. I go here as often as possible. And it is clear by the line out the door that anyone who has been there before agrees they are the best. Try them whenever they are open, or drive by on Friday if your not sure. the smells alone will grab you by the nostrils and force you in their door. Not to be disappointed eat here...... more

We recently moved into the area and someone suggested the Atlantic Seafood Co. for a fish dinner. Well, I must say, we were VERY disappointed in the quality and taste of everything we purchased. We bought fried haddock, fried clams, coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad. The only thing that was half-way decent was the potato salad. The fish was horrible and way over cooked and dry as a bone. Also very greasy. We ended up throwing everything out. Will not go back there again! Cons: Inferior Quality more
