I tried to call several times and make a reservation but the people were very rude and actually hung up on me because they were booked during the time I needed to be picked up.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Astra Limousine and Towncar. My driver (Sergey) was actually early, very courteous and that made all the difference in world to me after a 5+ hour flight. Extremely reliable! 12/19/2010

I travel alot so having a car service that is always on time and usually early is really important to me. They are also very courteous and their cars are immaculate. Occasionally one of their drivers wears a bit too much cologne, but other than that they are PERFECT. more

Friendly,Safe, Luxury and Great price! 8/5/2010

We used this company for four years and never had a problem. This company always impresses me with their professionalism and flexibility. You can call a month ahead (they will never forget you) or you can all 2 hours before you need to be transported (they will be there). So if you need someone to take great care of you and your family, go with Astra Limousine and Town car service. more

Outstanding Service 5/24/2010

The limousine service was used for our son's Prom. We didn't know which service to choose---While searching the ""yellow pages"" I pointed to Astro Limousine Service, I called, talked to the representative---she told me to trust her---I've heard this many times in my days---I went with my instincts and it paid OFF! We will use this limousine service again in future. As a matter of fact we have an up coming wedding in the family and Astra Limousine Service will be our selection---no need to look any further. BEST prom service in P-town!! 4/20/2010

I ordered Astra Limousine for my daughter's prom night, and I still stand by my decision in doing so!! For my daughter and her friends, they had an awesome time; the driver was super friendly, helpful and knew exactly what he was doing, the interior of the limousine was clean, presentable, and luxurious. And I sat back in satisfaction knowing that Astra is the best company Portland has to offer!! Highly recommended!! Pros: affordable, friendly, excellent customer service!!! more

I turned 50 last Oct. 9th, 2009 and wanted to bring my birthday in with style so; I hired Astra Limousine service after thoroughly checking the many options for Limousine service in Portland. I rented a white, four door, 2006 stretch limo with bar, ice, crystal glasses, lights on the ceiling and, DVD player . Rented this luxury vechile for six hours and, Galina, through in the seventh hour free.\r My friends and I had a great ""night on the town"" and, Jonno, the limo driver, took good care of us while we visited several, make it four or five; locations. We have used many car services in our travels. They are always on time, with a positive attitude. They are complimentary to your schedule. They are respectful of your privacy in the car with having conversation or not. We have been using them for 4 years. The longest we have been with a car service. We will continue to use their services. Highly recommend them! more

Reliable, courteous, clean, efficient 9/14/2009

After seeing other car services come and go, merge, change, and decline, I decided to use Astra for the first time last year for biweekly rides to the airport. After more than a dozen trips, I can report that Galina, Sergei, and staff are the best I have used. There cars are clean, on time, and when there was an issue, the staff quickly addressed it to my satisfaction. One phone call and you can rest assured that you will be where you want to go. I use a car service to avoid parking hassles and for peace of mind, and I sleep soundly the night before knowing I won't have to fight transportation battles with Astra on my side. Courteous, Safe Drivers and staff who are willing and able to meet requests 2/12/2009

I, too, called this service during the December snow, several days ahead of my trip. The dispatcher assured me that the drivers knew how to drive in winter weather and would be able to reach me on top of a hill. The driver arrived approximately 15 minutes early, was courteous and friendly, and I arrived at the airport with no problem whatsoever. The service is a bit expensive (about $70 with tip from Clackamas), but definitely worth knowing that I would get to the airport when the road conditions were unpredictable. I have recommended the service to friends and will continue to do so, as well as calling them in the future for longer trips when parking at the airport isn't an option. more

Thank you Astra for saving our trip! 1/12/2009

This holiday season, Astra is the company that saved our plans on the crazy snow days we experienced here in Portland. We live on an extremely steep hill and I ended up reserving on a very short notice. The dispatcher was very friendly and concerned about me getting to PDX on time. Thanks so much for that. My husband and I also called several different companies before Astra, and none of them were operating at the time. Pros: Thumbs up!!!! more

They Did Not Show Up 12/11/2008

My fear came true with Astra, I made a reservation weeks in advance, reconfirmed the reservation two days in advance and they didn't show up. I gave them a five minute grace period, then called the office, they said the drive was close and should be there soon. Ten minutes late... call again, same story. Fifteen minutes late they admit the driver is lost... Today what delivery or service company does not use GPS. This was totally unacceptable to me. If the driver is lost, they need to call us to ask directions and to let us know the status not keep us wondering where the heck they are. The driver never showed up, we had a flight to catch for our honeymoon and thankfully AirPark near the airport had space for us. Not the way I wanted to start my honeymoom!!! Best Town Car Service in PDX 11/18/2008

I stumbled upon Astra Limo Service this summer when I traveled every week for business. My schedule was hectic, and changed frequently with very little notice. Galina set me up on an account on my first trip -- I never had to have my card or cash with me after that. I told her the tip amount to add to each trip, and by the time I made it in the door, I had a receipt e-mailed to me for the trip. Sergey is a fantastic driver. I haven't had occassion to ride with him for a couple of months, but he was downtown the other day, spotted me and shouted out a quick ""hello."" He even rememberd my first name! We have used Astra Limousine and Town Car numerous times for everything from trips back and forth to PDX, prom night, birthdays and even just to have a driver for a night out on the town. We have never been disapointed with their timely service and friendly, professional staff. The drivers are a pleasure to work with, always doing whatever they can to cater to our needs and the cars are immaculate. Super Limu Service 4/5/2008

It was pleasure to finish our vacation trip with Astra Limousine taking us home from Portland airport. Friendly, smiling driver Sergey was waiting us upon arrival. He helped with loading and unloading of baggage. The car was very clean and nice, there were some drinks, and the entire time of being in Astro Limu service was great! As an extra courteousy, Sergey even helped us with video taping the moment when our little kids met us after a week of my wife and I were absent. Astro Limousine Service added that extra touch to the special vacation we had, and I would recommend their service to everyone who wants quality service! more

Greatest limo driver in the country. 2/16/2008

I had the good fortune of using Astra Limo last time I was in Portland for business. My driver, Sergey, was the kindest, most courteous person I have ever encountered. He was always punctual, waiting with an umbrella to escort me through the Portland rain! I only wish that Sergey could drive me everywhere - I would never fly again!! HIGHLY recommended. more

Astra is the One: No Need to Look Further for any other Limo Service in Portland 12/11/2007

Being a frequent corporate traveler, it is important to have consistently excellent service. I have tried different towncar and limosine companies in the area and extremely disappointed by their poor service (calls for reservations never answered, high rates, etc.). However, with Astra Limo & Towncar, I have NEVER EVER had a single issue; I will not use any other car service in Portland. They are always on time (they have even come early for pickup and waited outside until my scheduled time). The staff is extremely responsive, accomodating, and they work with a true sense of urgency. As their client, you are really treated with the utmost of respect. The other positive reviews are right: the drivers are excellent (Sergey most especially), making reservations with Galina is so easy and she exemplifies the best in great customer service, and their cars are top of the line (clean, new, water and newspaper). Their rates are not any more than other car services in Portland, so why not try them and see that you made the right choice by calling them? Pros: Timely, Customer Service, Great Cars more

#1 Towncar Service in Portland 10/12/2007

I travel weekly for business, and have used multiple different services to get to and from the airport. None of them match the puncuality, friendliness, and comfort that Astra Limousine and Towncar provides. No flight is too early, or too late, and Sergey is always at least ten minutes early for every pick-up. Sergey even provided a video tape of a boxing match I missed because I was out of town on business! Given all of these things, I wouldn't even consider using a different service.
