Worst experience of all time. We ordered a dish to come before the meal. It arrived afterwards and was the wrong dish. No big deal, right? Well then within earshot the server talked to the manger about charging me for the wrong order and the corrected one. I was greatly insulted and will never return. more

Great food, great service. Spring rolls and crab cakes are a must, cannot miss. I've been going there for lunch once a week for almost 2 years and I never have a bad meal. more

What drew me to Asian Mint? Yup, I was looking for a good and authentic Chinese place and low-and-behold this Thai/sushi? place came up. I was going to 'go back' when I got to the $1.00 sushi on Monday and Tuesday nights. $1.00 sushi? Come on now - JACKPOT!!!!! So I invited two other friends to take advantage of this huge deal. A vision of plates and plates loaded with sushi took over my thoughts as we drove there. I was indeed excited and couldn't wait. Contrary to other reviews suggesting this place was very busy, I was pleasantly surprised when there was no wait and we were seated upon arrival. The restaurant was at about 90% capacity and was fairly loud. Expect to speak out loud while in conversation at this place. Once seated we were given our menus and the sushi order form - two actually. One sushi order form for the regular priced items and the second for the $1.00 sushi special. Being that it was our first time there I let the server know this and also asked about how the sushi special worked. When she answered I wanted to gasp, throw my jacket back on and walk out. The sushi 'SPECIAL' is $1.00 per 'piece'. Ummmm...seriously? Really? I was confused. How is $1.00 per piece a sushi special? I felt blatantly cheated and a victim of false advertisement. Can I get a witness? Wait, I had two there with me. Nonetheless, we decided to go ahead and order from the regular priced sushi menu as this was cheaper than the $1.00 sushi 'special' - on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30-9:30pm, make sure ya'll check it out! Not. The sushi was average. My only two complaints: the california roll tasted good, but the pieces looked like they were store bought AND when settling the bill, two of my invites paid cash with the remaining balance to be paid by credit card. The server made it a point to let us know how the cash was applied to the bill, what the remaining balance was AND she highlighted the TIP Figures at the bottom of the receipt: 15%: $, 20%: $. Really? As an experienced fine-diner, I don't need to be told that tips are more than customary and let alone have these figures highlighted on my bill. Our server should have been less forthcoming in presuming to know that ummmmm....we didn't know any better? Clearly we did know better and because the service was not bad we tipped adequately. Will I return to this place? No I will not. The food was mediocre and the venue as well. The Fish, on McKinney in Uptown - MUCH BETTER food and the venue is awesome. $1.00 Sushi Special? Eh, not so much. more

My wife and I were visiting Dallas this past weekend and decided to try the Asian Mint based on reviews on this site. We had planned on eating sushi for lunch. When we arrived, we were informed they only serve sushi after 5 pm. Not a problem, just would have been nice to know. After taking our drink orders, the waitress never came back to take our order, or bring our drinks. After close to 20 minutes with still no attention by waitstaff, even though the place wasn't busy, we decided to leave. Will never attempt to eat here again because of the horrible, non-existent service. more

There's tons of great restaurants near my work but I have to say this place is always my first choice. The food is great..especially the curry (and I am picky about my curry). I read some bad reviews due to service but I can say I'm Asian and all my waitresses have been nothing but courteous and eager to please. I do go early so I never have wait to be seated. I'm sure those patrons who have to wait (and there will be some waiting because this place is always packed) are inclined to be negative with the service being slow if they've already lost 10 minutes of their lunch to be seated. But if you want some good Thai food, then you don't want to miss out on this place. more

I love Asian Mint. It is my favorite restaurant. I go there 2 or 3 times a week. Their Pad Thai is so good. They also have the best sushi. Especially, on Monday and Tueday, they have $1 sushi night. Restaurant is usually busy. You might have to wait for your table, but it worth it! more

Asian mint and The mint are best Thai food I ever have. I love everything on the manu, start with the mint plater is a great combination of their appertizer along with Spicy Tom yum soup that have a great smell of lemon grass. Steam sea bass is the dish that everyone shouldn't miss. I also like their ""green tea martini"" smooth drink for my spicy dishes. End up with a fastastic mango sticky rice. Try them out, you won't dissappoint it! more

This place is great, tasty food ample portion sizes and the price is affordable. If your a vegetarian or gluten concern, their some dish on manu that you'll love. Its a causual atmosphere and the service is above average all the employees are very friendly and helpful. more

Asian Mint is the best restaurant I've ever had in Dallas. Pad Thai is great!!! I love it. I usually go there on Tuesday to have some sushi. Their sushi is wonderful. I also love steamed sea bass. Lastly all waitresses are very nice to me. I love you guys Asian Mint. more

This is my favorite restaurant! I've always had a good time at Asian Mint. My friends and I go there 2-3 times a week. The Pad thai is great, the Steamed sea bass is wonderful, the Soft shell crab with the spicy mayo rocks, and the Orange cake is awesome! The specials are always good. There is a nice bar to sit and have drinks. They are just right about everything! Definitely worth a visit! more

I am asian mint's biggest fan! what can i say. everything is so good. the quality, quantity, value, atmosphere, and service is a great combination. consistantcy is what i crave and they deliver. i do cut them some slack when they are busy, they are only human too. but they live up to their standards. been eating here for 5 years you should get to know the staff. pad thai is what i recommend for first timers or fried rice if you are new to thai. then you can move on to the seabass and pad kee mow. asian mint is not authentic thai and they don't claim to be. you can always ask for hot sauce if you need to heat or try their version of the kung pao chicken. soft shell crab appetizer is to die for. always finish with dessert...try them all. martinis are great and fruity like the mangotini. please go try them..;) more

very delish sushi rolls. gotta try the dallas roll and asian mint roll. yuzu yellowtail is also a really good. in case you are interested, they have $1 sushi deal on mon and tues nights. Nigiri only, dine in deals and $2 off all sake bottles. more

if you are craving some good noodle dishes with fresh vegetables, asian mint is the place to go. their pad thai is amazing. better than a lot of places in thailand and around dallas. they also have a sushi, a very friendly staff and great martinis..;) i do take out a lot and ordering online is so easy. more

Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, House fried rice, basil fried rice, mongolian beef, ginger chicken, cashew chicken, sea bass, sushi, martinis, wine, illy coffee, green tea cake, sticky rice and ice cream, it's the best!! the service is fast for lunch...gets you in and out and satisfied to the max! more

Come to the neighborhood and drop by asian mint. a hold in the wall that's hard to find but once you found them, you are going to be hooked!! Best asian dishes with a thai concentration as the owner and chefs are thai...not authentic thai...it's the new wave of bangkok style thai food. more

You would think that $1 is not so good sushi, but at asian mint, you are missing out thinking that. $1 nigiri every monday and tuesday nights are the best deal in town and even $2 off all sakes. a group of us meet up and hang out and spend very little for great quality sushi. you gotta try it. the restaurant is kinda hard to see. it's across forest lane from medical city and behind schlotsky's deli. next to office depot with a green and white sign with circles. kumpai! more

I go there everyday for lunch and several times for dinner with my family. Its very nice eventhough many eople there. Everything is great but Pad Thai is my favorite. I love Orange cake too. I love to go there for sushi as well. One dollar sushi is awesome!!!! I always go there either on Monday or Tuesday. Their sushi is very big. Dallas roll is wonderful . I just love it. more
